Until Italian realise that 1-0 is not an acceptable grand strategy for contemporary European Football, Serie A will continue to fail.

Speed Fitness and Technical ability.

Serie A has technical ability, the other two, not so much. That's why we need non-italian players, because the italian mentality is retarded.
Playing defensively, not having the ball and looking to score on the break remains a perfectly legitimate tactic.

Italy's problem is that they don't have the array of brilliant defenders to keep it tight at the back or the fantastic creative players to make something happen the way they used to.

Isn't that what I said?

if it's 12 or 14 or even 15mil i would pay it for him.. and what about Zapata?! Marotta drivin' me nuts and really doubt that we will be strong with such a brain.
There is no way on earth that Udinese would have given us the same price on Zapata, now chance in hell. Furthermore you neither know the targets nor their sale value so how can you judge his intelligence when you have no evidence?

That's not what you do when you finish 7th twice in a row... :disagree:
I'd be very disappointed with such mercato.
You wouldn't be OK with signing Pirlo Pazienza Licht Ziegler Vidal Juan Bastos Rossi?

this is from todays gazzetta dello sport

As below:

We're very close to Bastos. Meeting next week to close.
We're very close to Vidal too. We're offering 10m. Bayer wants 12. Very close.
We're very close to Rossi. Juve offered 25m. Villareal looking to close at 27m plus bonuses.

We're very far from Ribery, Aguero and Diarra. :D
