Can't Marchisio be the guy?
Where do you see the similarity between Pirlo and Poli? Why do you think that Poli could replace Pirlo, but Marchisio couldn't?

And now the main question: How many times did you watch Poli? Can you please describe him to me. His characteristics as a player and all that.

Thanks
Too be honest, I've only seen Poli a handful of times. He seemed like a solid player, not amazing, but not bad either. On Sampdoria he was played as a regista. He can hold the ball well, he always tracks back to help the back, he's more of a playmaker (which I don't see Marchisio as), and can execute some great passes.

I always hear Poli is the next Pirlo as well, that's why I compared them. He's only 21, and if Pirlo were to take him under his wing I think he can develop quite well.

For the right price (like I said) I don't see the problem with having both Poli and Marchisio.

Juve scouts should really be looking at "The Banguras".

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Teteh_Bangura
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Mohamed_Bangura_(footballer)

They are both from Sierra Leone and born 1989. Mohamed came to AIK from Swedish division 1(3rd tier) Köping a year ago and saved them from regulation.
Teteh came from Swedishd division 2 this season.

They play for AIK who suck, but thanks to the Banguras, who have scored 19 of 25 goals, Teteh with 14 goals, they are now third in Allsvenskan.

Also Teteh scored four goals in today's match.

Strange, since I see more of a DM and less of a playmaker in him. From everything I saw of him, if he's supposed to be a playmaker, he's definitely not a good one. And I didn't see him tracking him back, as you say, simply because he WAS at the back most of the time.

Anyway, my point was that Pirlo's sub doesn't have to be a player similar to him. I think that in case Pirlo gets a long injury we'd do much better if we play Marchisio-Melo than Poli-Melo, no matter if Marchisio won't be similar to Pirlo in his style. From what I see now it looks like we plan to replace Melo and Sissoko with Vidal and Poli. That's seriously not an upgrade. Even financially we'd be in plus after selling our two players and buying Vidal+Poli. Are we trying to strengthen our team or to make profit? Because we're not gonna do both at the same time.
