Forgot about Inler.

Fullbacks: fixed
Midfield: strengthened (Pirlo and if you're right about Inler)
LM: ? (Just convince Gio to come back or Hazard)
SS: Sanchez/Kun

We only need 2 more signings to be back in business, that is if Inler is coming. If not, keep Melo and our midfield is still fine and dandy.

If we can sign Sanchez for less than Kun would cost, then we should use whatever we have left to sign Hazard for LM. If that "would" be the case then hopefully we can use as many players as we can to bring down Sanchez's price in player trade plus cash and the rest of our money going to Hazard.
i like the way u do business :D

Forget about Hazard already, he isn't leaving Lille for a team that doesn't play CL, he stated that multiple times already, if he leaves, it will be for a team that plays CL.
And most likely, he won't even be allowed to leave.
THIS FUCKER!! he wants to be more valued on the CL and goes for the top of the top teams.. this guy is ambitious. shame really that we can't get him. he will be one of the best in the world very soon.

If we got Inler our midfield is looking pretty good. If the other 2 players we signed for up top were say Bastos & Kun/Sanchez I reckon msot of us would be very happy at that? As like has been already said I can't see us signing 2 top top players.

Bastos is pretty good though.
Bastos ain't bad and we never said that. he is just a good player. won't move the team forward we need players who can move the team and add a new dimension and somehow i see Giovinco doin' that more than Bastos cause apart from the quality of Giovinco he is our boy and i believe he still loves our club..

Why wont he move the team forward?

This is how I see it.

..............................................Bastos --------------------------- Krasic
Can shoot outside the box?........ V.......................................................X
Can cross a ball in nicely? .......V........................................................X
Can score free-kicks for us? ....V......................................................X
Can beat his markers/opp? .....V......................................................V
Stamina level for a full 90? ......V.....................................................V/X

Giovinco doesnt have the physical skill do excell in buildup play, if there is no space his speed is useless because he cant get past his man.

However, when leading and playing the counter, he becomes a true danger, like we all witnessed.

This why we need giovinco in the team, as supersub, to take advantage of counters hard.

We however need a dynamic leftwinger that can add something to the game.

we could do sanchez, and keep quag SS, so sanchez plays a more offensive role and cuts inside, defensive quality doesnt matter when you are as talented as sanchez, the opposition is forced to keep him in check. bastos would be a good understudy here.
Giovinco would be a nice sub for both RW or SS when countering the game

Or we could do bastos, and play sanchez as SS behind matri. Gio would be a good sub for bastos then, when he's tiring.

Conclusion, we need bastos, sanchez and giovinco, they will all do well when played right.

Not intended to bash gio, i'm trying to judge him to his obvious quality as supersub

Giovinco won't like to be a sub.. and he can play as a starter he was so fuckin' great when he played with Diego and Camo in the 3 man system behind the striker.. just don't throw Giovinco in a bad team and expect him to do magic but when he is with a good team and star players like him or better. he can be so dangerous.
