Bachini and Paramatti send their regards.
along with F.O'Neill and D.Baiocco :D

he is just being a butt there, rubbing salt on a fresh wound and maybe looking for his old job back ;)

Blanchard, Baiocco, Dimas, O'neill, Esnaider, that Uruguyuan defender who was so useless I forgot his name, I can go on :p
Osman got those first he must have a better memory of them playing for Juve :D

When have we made a bid for Aguero? I'm yet to see anything said except the initial thing about us faxing our interest in Aguero, nothing more.

This + There's no reliable news on the fact that we should have agreed personal terms with Sanchez nor Inler.

Michel Bastos for 15M
Andrea Pirlo for free
Gokhan Inler for 15m
Mattia Cassani for 8m plus Amowri

I have to say, those could all be very good signings for us.
Only those are not enough though. What this team is missing is a superstar(s), a game changer, somebody who the opponents think they need to spend more time on. Somebody like Aguero. The problem seems that we're not attractive enough for those kind of players at this moment.

Also Bastos I'm not too excited about. 28 years old till next season and there is so much better wingers out there.

someone said in this thread that an Atleti official confirmed that we made a bid.
The confirmation was their president acknowledging that we are the only ones to have officially made our interest in him. If we had made a bid, he would have said he rejected it, but only statements he has made I read was that Aguero's release clause is for 45m, that they wont listen to anything lower then that. And how they wont sell to Real, who are the only team really working on signing him btw.

I think our upfront players will be Quag and Matri..
I think so too and I don't think any of Sanchez, Pastore, Higuain, Benzema or any one of this caliber is even being considered.
My feelings as well. Those players are only possible if we go cheap on the positions that really need strengthening, at RB and LM.

Imo, our spending will be similar to last season. Subtracting sales, 25m euros invested.

Melo, Momo, Amauri, half of Seba, and random loan fees and co-owns, we could raise 35m in sales, meaning we have 60m for a RB and LM (minus sales equals 25m invested, the same amount as last season)

Quag Matri
Hazard (27m) Inler (15m) Pirlo Krasic
Zielger Chiellini Bonnuci Lich (11m)
Buffon

53m - 35m in sales = 18m invested, which is less than last season. We would see savings in wages as well.

Amauri (4.2), Del Piero (-3m after his new contract), Melo (2.6), Momo (2.2), Brazzo (2m), Legro (750k, as we sold him January), Grosso (1.5), Lanzafame (1.2), Rinaudo (750k), Manninger (500k), Traore (500k), = 19.2m

I'm not sure what our new signing are making, but based on the rest of our squad and media speculation, we can accurately guess.

Ziegler (1.5), Lich (1.5), Inler (2.1), Pazienza (1.2m), Pirlo (4), Marchisio (+1.5 for his new deal), Hazard (3) = 14.8m

19.2m - 14.8m = 4.4m, after taxes = 8.8m wiped off our wage bill compared to last season. Add another 6.6m to that if we do not sign Aquilani.

Of course, the above doesn't mention the loan options on Quag, Aquillani, Pepe, etc, but given how Marotta has stated that we are looking at quality players, it is safe to assume we have at least a similar budget as last season.

After Marotta fails to bring in a world class striker he will just probably try to sell the Matri and Quag partnership as one of the best in the league.
