"Yes, we're following Gilardino's situation in Florence - He's a Champion with a great attitude".

I can just hear that in the coming days :)

Yeah...while we are here starring at our computer screens twiddling our thumbs Madrid are signing Kun and Inter are signing Sanchez at a discount while Pastore is being valued at 50m by his president.

Yes, no news is great news.

Italy has played tonight all the Guru's are busy being smart on Italy's behalf. Tomorrow they will invent some great news about Juventus.

Like: "Dzeko wants out - Juve in pole. Gilardino the alternative. Paratici in Brazil for Neymar. Inler: "Juve are great, but I prefer to live in a dumpster i.e. Napoli""

Van Wolfswinkel.. I would say he's solid at best, but still quite a talent for his age. Never thought he would go to Sporting. Reminds me a bit of Huntelaar

Moggi: Ziegler and Pazienze wouldn't even been on my bench with my Juve.

News on Michel Bastos. Quotes from his agent in this:

The driver Michel Bastos put Juve in pole position for the acquisition of his client: "He had no preference between Inter and Juventus: he likes Italian football and would like to play there. The Bianconeri, however, have moved to first and this time they presented the offer more concrete. "Clear words to those of Emmanuel de Kerchove calciomercato.it confirming that the interest of Juventus is higher," confirms the Inter against Michel Bastos. The key issue is always the player's passport. Within two, maximum three weeks is expected to become EU and the situation will become clearer. "

Monday.. over two or three weeks. I'm quite curious how Bastos would be for us, dont know much about him.

Hmm, he was a bit expensive though. Sporting better make the things right this time, their situation in Portugal is a bit like Juve atm (lesser scales).

That Moggi quote was pretty dogmatic, btw.

Michel Bastos for 15M
Andrea Pirlo for free
Gokhan Inler for 15m
Mattia Cassani for 8m plus Amowri

I have to say, those could all be very good signings for us.

Agreed

And if one or two world class players were to arrive the mercato would be more than okay. But I doubt it will go in that direction :(

Neither Inler not Cassani are done though. Pazienza on the other hand ...

I don't think Inter ever wanted him. Not good enough for them. That's why there signing Sanchez:tup:
