Some updates of the guru of vecchiasignora:

Conte asked for Pastore and Sanchez
Krasic: EPL clubs are after him: City want to trade Krasic with Dzeko
Marrotta want Dzeko in loan and 25MLN for Krasic
25MLN for Nani (Bastos, Vargas, Menez or Elia)
Ribery and Bale too expensive, Dzudzsak not in the plans of Conte.

For Aguero we need to offer 30MLN + Tiago or Iago
But he's the seconde choice, Pastore is number 1

Inler: 12MLN+some players
If the deal wouldnt finish: Aquiliani 10 MLN

If Chiellini or Bonucci leave, Hummels is our target (Rolando didn't convinced)

Lichtsteiner: 12MLN is too much for us
Arbeloa: not interested in us
Cassani can be included in the Pastore-deal
Van Der Wiel not on our list and Beck asked to much wages and now said to Marotta he'll accept the first offer we made him

Buffon will be our #1 at 100%
Marchisio stays but as a bench player (first choice to sub the wings or central midfield)

-- SECOND PERSON --

If we buy Aquiliani he'll be inserted as Trequartista in a 4-2-3-1 (so goodbye Pastore)
Higuain or Dzeko as our striker, Dzeko isn't happy at all at Man City, and if Aguero joins Real Madrid Higuain will be very close to us, but keep in eye the option Benzema
For the wingers: if Aquiliani is our Trequartista, we'll go after Ribéry, Hazard or Dzusdzak

Bastos stand-by (Conte isn't a fan)
Beck very close, lichtsteiner is more appreciated by our staff, at least next week the end of the negotations with lazio (storari inserted)
Massiello and Bovo on the list.

Second goalkeeper: Marchetti

Pal, none of those players you mentioned - Sanchez, Pastore, Ribery, Aguero, Higuain are going to sign for us. Marotta, Agnelli, Tuttosport & co have been feeding the fans lies. Remember when marotta said that he'd sign a "world class striker/Foward/SS" it's complete lies:

Sanchez 60% certain to join Inter. Out of us or Inter who do you think is in the better position i.e. CL, financially? unless the guy wants to join us, and is somekind of fan, i doubt he would ever sign for us.

Ribery - Bayern are not going to sell, simple as.

Higuain - Mourinho wants him, that's his number #9 player, and he confirmed that, even if they sign Aguero, which they will, Higuain & Benzema will still be Real Madrid players.

Pastore - We haven't even made an offer for him. 30-40million they want for him? do we even have 30million for a single player, can we even make those type of signings anymore, not sure, otherwise we wouldn't be signing Zigiler as our new LB, a player that just relegated ffs, or Piazeinca whatever his name is.

Aguero - We never had a chance in the first place. 45mllion, R.madrid or current Juve? no friggin contest, half the clubs in Europe and current Juve? probably half the clubs in Europe. Marotta sent them a fax, to say were intrested? wtf?

This so called 100million budget - complete myth.

So, summarising what that guru said, we'd be looking at

-----buffon

licht-chiellini-Hummels-ziegler

------pirlo-melo
inler

-----pastore-----nani

-----Dzeko

playing assymetrical 4-5-1
having marchisio, quag, matri as subs

i'd be sad to lose krasic, but that, would be quite a team

Do it all on his own? He has Krasic, Sanchez, Pirlo and Aquilani to serve him. I don't quite get what you mean.

Also, Aquilani would be good in such an attacking position because he's too lethargic to be a CM. If Conte has such team at his disposal and manages to install the Juve spirit as he say, then we would be easily in top 3.
By my reckoning he means that the other striker he mentioned have something that Matri lacks. Tevez, Rooney, Ibra, or even a Higuain..especially the first three on that list, can play in the same role as Matri and show world class talent and consistency, not just in terms of finishing, but also in terms of creating goalscoring opportunites.

I think that Matri can be world class in terms of finding great positions and finishing, at best, he can become a Trezeguet of sorts. But find him with a player to beat, for anything but pace and reaction, and his chances of finding the net reduce rapidly. whereas Rooney or Tevez...the chances drop only ever so slightly. perhaps they don't even change...as not only do they love to score, but they love to beat players. and can do.

Matri needs his dinner served on a silver platter. The others don't.

Has anyone ever done some statistical work on these so-called "Guru's" (Not this forum's Guru's) hit-rate?

Everybody with a certain degree of football knowledge and a good understanding of italian football could write the above-mentioned.

I find it kinda sad bordering pathetic that people - no one mentioned no one forgot - eat up their words without the slightest degree of criticism.

 where did you get Nani from? Bastos deal is more or less done, his agent confirmed that he should be unveiled in the next 10 - 14 days. He's our new LW/LM, don't particularly rate him either, but he's our new LM/LW. Pastore? not sure about it, must be the "world class" player Marotta was on about, cause Bastos/Dzeko are definitely not world class. Dzeko has floped in the EPL this season, floped pretty hard, out of his depth. And with CL next season, Man city only have Tevez/Baloetlli as strikers, so i don't see that happening, especially after they brought him just 6months ago.

i'm just forming a team out of whatthe guru said.

krasic for dzeko, and the 25 mil used to nani, is what fits in what he said.
