wouldn't go as far ... he's only expressed his availability for a transfer to Juve, no sort of commitment yet, as far as I know.
A few sources saying he's agreed to join so we'll have to see.

Also we need to factor in Juventus season tickets go on sale June 21st you'd assume they'll want to bring in a top player before then to ensure they sell.

It only takes a minute to sign a player with the club. We've got an agreement already with Sanchez if you believe the news.
I believe that Juventus are trying to get Sánchez and have probably tried to negotiate/talk about something with either club or player. It's the fact that it's Inter that are also after him, not Napoli, and Udinese will milk everything they can from this deal.

If Inter sold Sneijder tomorrow I'd seriously worry about them. I don't believe Inter are ready to part with 30+ Million to get him. Especially with Moratti saying he does not think they'll spend big on the attack.

Krasic - Inler - Pirlo - Bastos

Sanchez - Matri

Surely we could get somebody better than Bastos but I like that. We could add a superstar to that team one year at a time and do it right this time around, no Grosso's, Tiago's, or Poulsen's . The problem is that we can't afford to miss out on CL one more time and it could be risky leaving the team just like that so maybe we would be forced to add another star besides Sanchez if we don't want to risk it. If this team could get us to the CL then we could surely add a better striker next to Sanchez or get a better winger than Bastos to raise the quality of the team.

It's the same thing.

I just cannot envision a way that you can play Pirlo in a two man centre midfield and not get overrun in there in a lot of games.
i think its an interesting formation for the small games, when they defend anyway
we need to be warry for the counters tho

It wouldn't be the same thing. 4-4-2 would require more defensive work from Krasic and Bastos while we'd get to see Sanchez more up front. 4-2-3-1 would give them all offensive role, and Sanchez would roam more. If we sign Beck our defense is pretty much all defensive.

Yeah I'm not really a fan of that either. If it was up to me I'd play 4-3-3, or somewhat a 4-3-2-1 but that's a bit unrealistic since it doesn't include Bastos that's pretty much coming here.

I think we need to add more quality this time around, we cant afford to miss a CL for the 3rd successive season and we need to attract crowds to the stadium as well. Its going to be even tougher this time around with Italy having only 3 spots to qualify for 2012/2013 CL.

pirlo won't work in conte's 442, so we will see something different there. and with a guy like pirlo on your team you most probably want to accomodate your setup that way that pirlo can play at his best.

but then again pirlo and inler would both tend to sit back and in most cases orchesrate the offense instead of actively go forward. maybe that would stabilize the side.

I don't really consider there to be much difference between 4-4-1-1 and 4-2-3-1 in most cases.

It's all about what instrustions a player is given within the role.

And Beck and Ziegler are both balanced fullbacks, in my book. Neither are going to spend the whole game playing as a winger, but nor is it like playing a CB there who isn't going to cross the halfway line.

Is Bastos definitely coming?

I was wondering if Juve's plans hadn't changed over the last couple of weeks with the players they are being linked with.

Signing the loan players, plus going for Inler, a RB, Bastos and a SS type is one hell of an expensive mercato.

Melo - Inler - Pirlo

Krasic - Matri - Sanchez
Looks nice.
