Juve and Lazio 'ask for Cassani'

Palermo and Italy right-back Mattia Cassani’s agent has confirmed “both Lazio and Juventus have made enquiries.”

The Rosanero player could be leaving Sicily over the summer for a more prestigious club.

“Both Lazio and Juventus have made enquiries,” agent Tiberio Cavalleri told Calciomercato.it.

“The interest from the two clubs is certainly real, but at the moment negotiations are not at the stage that would see him leave Palermo for next season.”

It’s reported Cassani is the effective replacement for Stephan Lichtsteiner.

Should Lazio sell the Switzerland international to Juventus, then they would bring in Cassani to fill the gap.

If Juve don’t get Lichtsteiner, then their second choice is Cassani.

VdW is not that better than the other two. It's a matter of options and as long it is between Cassani and Licht we're good since we could get much, muchhhhhh worse.

just watched a romanian tv sport show about italian league and they talked a hour about juventus...they got to the draw board and drew this : buffon - ziegler, chiello, bonucci, lichtsteiner - melo, pirlo - aguero/ribery, del piero, quag - matri

they also praised aquilani for his season

I wrote Dzeko because some guru on some site said Juventus asked for a loan. Anyway, buy Aguero, Hazard and Cassani/Lichsteiner and Lassana Diarra if Melo leaves. Concentrate on selling garbage and even it would provide enough money for Hazard. Consider the table Melo posted, add second that for taxes and it would lead to 30 millions itself. Some of them could even generate some transfer money like Amauri, Sissoko or Martinez. It would be enough for a RB. The only real investment management would have to make is for Aguero. It is as simple as it looks for the one who could think and act decently.
