I honestly would like to see Vertonghen here, he is young, reckless and knows how to set up a defence. He is better than Vermealen IMO. Too bad he will probably go to the EPL.

confusing, explain? are u using the greater than sign to mean or?
Parma pay 10mln for the following players:
50% of Amauri (his salary will be for the 100% of Parma)
50% of Giovinco (= 100% Parma, because they own already 50% of him)
Loan Giandonato 1season

About Jan Vertonghen:
His best position (and the position at Ajax) is central defender. He's left footed. Very solid, hard worker, not a guy who will have big talks. There were talks that also City had an eye on him.
At the national team (Belgium) he played also als left back or defensive midfielder, or central midfield (4-3-3).
With his 30 caps and 24 years (experience in CL and EL), he also isn't a talent anymore. He's ready for the next step and mentioned that he want to leave Ajax if there will be an offer from a great club.
To make a comparison: only Chiellini is a better defender than him, so Vertonghen is a huge improvement (> Bonucci, Barzagli and Sorensen).

probably kompany v2.0?
I rate Kompany a bit higher, IMO Kompany soon will be on the same level as Vidic, Terry, Ferdinand, Pique, Puyol.
He's an awesome defender, his only problem: too often injured. But he improved and started 37 games at City.
Also player of the year at City (not bad at all..) and a few times captain also.

well , there are some voices that he could be our coach , but I dont think so , Conte it is. But Ancelotti probably talked to these players about Juve.. Nowadays before a player signed a contract at a team they ask people who worked there "should I do it or not?"

Also Elrejo Elia was very happy with the interest of Juve he told a dutch newspaper: "Juve, wow! Would be amazing!" Juve asked in the winter the loan with option to buy: HSV rejected.

Where are all the cry babies at that were so sure we were going to neglect the full back situation again?

Ok, now that we have Ziegler for LB, which RB should we get?

Who is better and most realistic between Litchsteiner, Beck and Cassani?
Cassani played for our youth team I think in a season 2002/03, and is good option, provides plenty of good crosses, but Lichtsteiner is much more solid at the back and I would go for him. I haven't really watched this Beck guy so I can't say objectively my opinion of him.

It sounds like Conte prefers full backs that can defend over ones that can attack. If I remember correctly, the wingers are pushed farther up the field attacking with the strikers that the full backs need to stay back in case of a counter.
