I totally agree with you. Less decent players more worldclass player.

BUT, in reality, those world class player doesn't want to come!!! Is not that we are not willing to splash the cash. The problem is we can't attract the players to come. We got no CL, that the a huge factor. Man City pay less to aguero compare to our rumor offer. That sums up all. Is not like you can buy anyone you want when you have money.

The player is also choosing which them they wants to play for also.

Is a great thing that we can even get vidal and vucinic. Fuck osvaldo cost roma 16M shit. vucinic worth the penny.

i'm not favor to the buys of giaxxxxx and estixxxxx. but no choice. Our priority target doesn't want to come.
This is not true

:agree:
We have been promised great players and we didnt really got what we were promised
With the amount of $ we had for transfers I expected a lot more than that
Aguero even if he would cost more would have been a great signing amazing player +young. He will show his worth at City I have no doubt about it.
also as much as replacing Melo was needed (mentality) There are many other position more needed to strengthen

Our mercato should have been based on our weaknesses
We got a RB that is a good thing
LB- I`m not sure about Ziegler
CM playmaker type- Pirlo and we got him for free so that is great
LW- still nothing
CB- still nothing

We should have got another and better LB than Ziegler+ a great LW instead of settling for just another average or near average winger.
As for the CB as much as Alex Lugano or Alves are upgrades over Bonucci I expected us to go for a better defender

Overall I think we should have bought less players but more expensive ones (and better ones ofcourse)
Transfer budged is just a small fraction of the full cost of a player

we got a third of what was promised for the transfer market, so we were very limited in wages

for example,; lets see samuel eto'o from inter

inter sold him for 23 mil, but because they now remove his wages, they save 99 million over 3 years.

see, wages are the thing that keep us down. it elkann/agnelli indeed gave us the 120 mil for incomming transfers, not dept or reedeming loans, we could have spend 60-70 mil on transfers, and used the other half for the payment of wages over the next 3 years.

however, with just 40 mil for new transfers, and nothing to be added to wage budged, we cant quite get aguero or any simular player demanding 12mil wage before taxes

'Juventus failed to buy phenomenonal players' - Luciano Moggi

"No phenomenal players arrived and so they will not win the league this year," Moggi wrote in his Tuttomercatoweb.com column.

"However, they did well to bring in the wingers they needed. It's a shame their quality is not of Juventus."

Goal

Looks like he was correct when he said months ago that no top players will be joining Serie A this season.

People expecting Moggi to say which players should Juve sign are stupid. I'll list three reasons:

- He doesn't want to hurt his reputation, if he gets it wrong
- He is banned from football
- Do you honestly believe he was the only guy responsible for signing of players during his reign. He had a large team of scouts and coaches that recommended players to him. He was a good general manager not because he had some super talents in predicting who'll be a good player in the future but because he hired capable experts that did their job effectively. No way can he make the same quality predictions as before.

Would like the capable experts opinions on these players we've signed.
