They were calling him 'the new Nedved' early this year.

I'd rather get him, rotate LW... instead of wait 2 years and he'll be out of our range.
It'll be good to have one position that might actually improve over the season... the rest are very predictable.

Thanks, I don't know I would kind of like the idea of what looks like a promising player rather than a player who won't get any better. He surely can't cost that much + Ekdal?

Yeah, but he was playing further forward and almost entirely focused on playing the final ball rather than really playing in midfield and building up the play.

I hope so but i'm not sure. On paper/$ value, the teams are still stronger than most, but look at EL results especially. Juventus looked the same quality as Austrian and Ukranian teams... same with the Palermo and co.

Why were Sacchi and co saying Italian calcio is s**** right now.
The problems in the EL are mostly down to Italy having a shit attitude towards it.

In the past the were good enough to win without really trying, but that certainly ain't the case now.

He's been a shadow of his former self since his knee injury.

General Italian Mercato comment

Sanchez, Pastore, and quite possibly Sneijder and Eto'o

The stars of the Serie A are all leaving for other leagues. How many world footballing stars remain other than Ibra and Robihno?
They said the same the year when Kaká and Ibra left - bigger stars than Sanchez and Pastore.

Stars or Serie A leaving in an inflated market is not a bad thing, the money can ensure adequate replacements arrive over the next 2 years.

There's nothing to be gained by keeping them if the price is right, it allows fresh blood and more money to flow into the market.

As the transfer market nearing its end and judging by our last targets, I can say that this market is a huge shame. A transfer market that is solely built on multiple risks, for a season that can't tolerate one risk. Our starting eleven and 4-2-4 formation don't look successful at all, especially with Pirlo-Vidal/Marchisio in the middle and Bonucci as a starter. Not to mention De Celiesque Ziegler and our wingless left flank or destined to be filled with a mediocre/not bad player.

Call me pessimist or whatever you wish, but hoping for better than fifth position is wishful thinking. Being in the top 3 with this formation will need huge luck for all the risks to be successful.

The funny thing is, it seems most fans are content with DC & Ziegler covering the left side of defense. As i've said before, that's where we'll be hurt the most come this season.
