in 90% of transfer deals you get the agreement with the player then go to the club.
I wouldn't go that far, though the majority work that way outside the UK.

In the UK it still seems to happen more then way it's meant to - with the clubs reaching an agreement first.

He's put his goolies in the vice on this one.

Ryan Giggs: "Dirtiest players I have faced?

Two Juve players - Montero & Ferrara. If one of them missed you, the other one would get you."
Old quote.

Those two were thugs on the pitch.:vinny: Montero was awesome until his last season with us.
Ferrara was hard, but he wasn't a thug.

Deschamps confirms Roma talks

Didier Deschamps has confirmed he is in talks with Roma, “but I have not made any commitments yet. It’s not a question of money.”
The Olympique Marseille Coach is one of the hot favourites to take over when American investor Thomas Di Benedetto becomes the new President.

“I am considering my future,” said the former Juventus boss. “It’s not a question of money, as that is not a decisive element for me. What counts is the sporting project.

“If I said that there hadn’t been contact with Roma, you’d laugh at me. Coaches are sought after just as much as players during the summer.

“The only thing I can tell you is that I haven’t made any commitments and will wait to see how the situation evolves so I can have a clear picture before deciding.”

Deschamps is still under contract with Marseille until June 2012, but a clause allows him to walk away for €3m.

Along with Roma, Deschamps has also been linked with the benches at Chelsea and Olympique Lyonnais.

I know I dont come around here very often but I just had to say two things.

First, I dont like whats happenning. I am not particularly annoyed with the players we are getting in but I am rather annoyed that we are again buying players before getting a coach possibly ending up with players the new coach doesnt want on the team or dont fit his system. I'd rather we get a coach ASAP and let him decide what he wants with the giant budget and Marrotta would act as an advisor and a negotiator ONLY and not the decision maker.

Second, and more importantly, I have just read a crazy goal.com article that said we offered Tevez 28 million Euros per year in Salary haha :D

EDIT: Oh and he rejected because he is no mercenary
Cheers

As if the transfer rumours regarding Nani ever needed putting to bed:

In recent days he had feared a fascinating theory to see the Portuguese Manchester United's Nani (24) with the shirt of Juve. Speaking today at a press conference before tomorrow's match against Barcelona for the Champions League final, the Lusitanian wing rejects the assaults of the Old Lady declaring his love for the Red Devils and its fans: "Here I'm happy. The fans are happy with my performance. In Manchester I'm fine, love the fans worth more than any trophy. "
