They are also after heinze.
I think Juan is strong possibility at 5mil, I think Roma would want to get cash for him at age 32 and 5mil is a fair price.
Juan is an amazing player.

I think he'd make a great duo with Chiellini. On the other hand, 3 year contract to him would be a no from me. He's a much better option than Heinze, though.

Yeah i think that would be our advantage, if we beleive what is reported we offering him 3 year at 2,5mil a year.
If so it could be done .

If we're chasing Juan we might as well chase Lugano who'm I hold higher and is younger. Also, he's from Uruguay and when we get rid of Martinez we won't have any other player from Uruguay. Juve has almost always had an Uruguayan player so we'll need a replacement. Lugano is a strong leader at the back, something we desperately need.

JUVENTUS (4-2-4):
Buffon; Lichtsteiner, Bonucci, Chiellini, Ziegler, Felipe Melo, Pirlo, Krasic, Del Piero, Quagliarella (Matri), Marchisio.

Practice match vs Val di Susa. (?)

Hopefully Melo is staying.
I wonder when people will accept it's just an attacking 4-4-2.

burdisso-mexes was the preferred partnership when both were available last year, right?
Juan was always first choice, Burdisso and Mexes fought for the other spot.

My recollection is that Ranieri preferred Burdisso initially, then Mexes forced his way into the team, but got a serious injury and didn't play much in the second half of the season.

Juan is an amazing player.

Agreed on all counts.

As good as he is, his age means that the move would be something of a gamble.

He was five and I was six we rode on horses made of sticks. He wore black and I wore white. He would always win the fight. Bang bang, I shot u down, bang bang, he hit the ground, bang bang, that awful sound, my baby I shot you down.
Haha what song is this from? :D
