It's fine if we don't want to sell Marchisio for 15m, thinking that we won't find a superior replacement for the same money, but if we're honest, his realistic price nor his market price go higher than 15m.
Even 15m is pushing it.

The ideal scenario would be using Marchisio in swap deal, i remember Mourinho being all over Marchisio when he was at Inter, even last summer. Maybe we could use him in some swap deal with RM.

I see you did that in some other posts. I ended up finding myself writing ration instead of ratio.
Why is that? Is it because we're used to an N at the end of the words that have -atio or -isio? (generation, organization, rotation, mission, permission etc)? :)

The thing is, he has some sort of value, there definitely is room for improvement & with that possibly comes increase in value. We have a lot more shit to dispose of then looking at offloading Marchisio.

(I hate agreeing with you)
Sucks for you that i'm right most of the time.

Depends which player we bring in.

I don't know :D, i edited the post the first time just to find that i wrote Marchision another time; I think you are right we are used to use an "N" at the end of words with "atio" , "isio" .

or maybe becuase Marchision sounds non-italian, and these days that's a good thing in football ... especially when looking to offload a player :D

True. I never see him becoming anything more than a 20m eur player though, and that's only if we manage to start a bidding war for him.
It's just that players with his characteristics are rarely sold for big money and they go over 17-18m eur only if they're real beasts or already play for a successful team, which makes them look better than they are (or the third case is if they are English and an English team is buying them).

The best way for us to see how much is Marchisio's value is to imagine that he plays for Dortmund, Napoli or Aston Villa. Would you want Juve to buy that player and how much would you be willing to pay.

Fair enough but lets wait & see how he fairs or if he gets more azzurri caps, once he becomes a permanent fixture in the azzurri set up, i'm pretty sure we could get 20m from the likes of inter or milan.

What do you think of Andrew Ayew? I'm kinda hoping there's some truth to the Sissoko/Marseille link. He'd make an excellent addition, not forgetting he'd cover the wing & attack.

I saw too little of Ayew and he was good whenever I watched him. Positive is that those were all big WC and CL matches.

But being such an important player for a team that will play CL and aims for the French league will require a solid amount of money and I don't see us paying the money this summer. We already have our set targets.

Buffon
Lichtensteiner-Bonucci-Chiellini-Ziegler
Vidal-Pirlo-Melo
Krasic-Vucinic-Aguero

:tuttosport:
Our midfield and defense options on the bench will be terrible :D
But who cares. We play only in Italy and it's now or never to create a smaller team with excellent starters. Only from next season we can start thinking about adding quality depth.
