I think it's good that Conte has a clear idea of what he wants and how he's going to proceed it. There's a lot of good players so excluding some of these (i.e. Pastore) shouldn't really be a problem, there's plenty left in the sea.

Pretty all around decent and competent fullback (unlike Ziegler), good both defensively and offensively so pretty balanced. Only issue would been if we overpaid for him, which we didnt. Wouldnt mind if we searched for fullbacks outside Italy (and only prefer Isla over him in Italy, Cassani and Licht similar level), France, Brasil etc. But overall a safe and decent choice. Know what you will get, and should be our best RB since Zebina


Bonus on being a frustrating prick to face (without the bonehead destructive idiocy that pricks usually have, like Melo or Zebina, hehe). Aggressive fighter and in your face kinda defending with him usually (goes hard into challenges/tackles without being dirty).

Then again, beggars can't be choosers. At this time the safe way is the way to. Give the fullbacks contiunity, bring in a youngster from France, Brazil etc in next couple of seaons and use them as backups.
