Penalty for River, Pavone missed it - still 1-1 ... River need 3 goals - if away goals rule plays here, not sure - to save themselves.

not lately ... they are 8th or 9th in the Clausura now but relegation rules in Argentina are pretty weird as results over previous seasons are also considered in determining who plays these play-offs.
I haven't followed them very closely for a couple of years now but still, didn't think they were doing that bad as to fight vs relegation ... a bit surprised myself

Crappy management - no one can do to you, what you can do to yourself.

lately other teams have woken up and started winning the championship there but Boca's and River'a troubles - two of biggest clubs in SA, in general - are solely due to the ineptitude of their management - bad transfers, coaching decisions, financial instability, you name it.
