My expectations are optimistic...but not as optimistic as I lead it on to be sometimes. This is what I would like to see considering no way in hell we will spend 100m. And with Conte back I would like to see Marrone back and maybe just maybe Giovinco to try and make it realistic in spending.

I would be happy with that...Pastore is good, Gio next to him would be deadly and Matri has the front line to himself supported by 3 freaking incredible players. We already have Pirlo, it won't be expensive to bring Beck and we can use some player exchanges to bring down the value of Pastore. Giovinco is obviously a stumbling block but perhaps Conte can bring him back. Gio is all about business and getting results...he never gives up and works his ass off and I think Conte could use that mentality mixed with his skill.

De Ceglie will stay unless we land Ziegler for free.

That's what I would like (realistically) and I don't think that would be a horrible team. Maybe come winter we can land another big fish if needed.

Do you really think Gio would want to come back? Also you trust DC on the left? He's a guaranteed path to goal for opposition attack & i really don't have any confidence in Ziegler's defensive abilities.

No I don't trust DC thats why I said A) we won't have 100m to spend and B) unless we can get Ziegler for free. Just because I had them in my formation doesn't really mean I "want" them.

Pastore and Gio mainly, Beck is an after thought.

Marotta can't/won't make Pastore happen for sure. And even though you haven't mentioned Aguero, the same goes for him

I didn't mention Kun because I feel like Pastore is MUCH more realistic. And hell, if Kun happens then suck me sideways. Beck may be an after thought, but he would come sorta cheap as well.

Look I would bust a nut if we landed Pastore or Kun or both but our board's mercato track record is not good. I don't know who we will land for sure but I am expecting to be fully underwhelmed and disappointed again.
