There is no guarantee that Gervinho would impress in Serie A.
He is a young quality player, who is consistent and is well rounded, quick, an excellent dribbler, good finisher, can play winger, SS and fill in for ST. Quite dynamic player. Yes, doesnt look like someone who could impress in mighty Serie A where Di Natale scores 25+ goals a season.

10m is really a frigging bargain, Arsenal are extremely lucky with this.

He's a talented youth that is already impressive in France. Serie A isn't much better, if better at all. I don't even know why you would start to dismiss someone because they play in a different league. Nothing personal or against you, just tired of that excuse.

By far, seriously, 20m for two quality young players? Jeez, we need to stalk the market for young guns who are on the last year of their contract (thats why Özil went only for 15m too last year).

Lol yeah, good option for such a name. But unlike the others mentionned, he isnt coming from one of the non top 3 leagues, and from a traditionally a midtable side that dont have much pulling power. But he is in a better side then us, and will only be looking to improve on Arsenal, not downgrade, sadly enough (thats why he hasnt signed yet, Arsenal not too ambitious for him). Thats why all the talk with him has been Man U.

Yeah I know. Just fantasizing.

Juve definitely needs to raid the French and Germans for young talent. I don't mean anyone like Diego, someone who's 20 or something. The French Ligue has been popping so many of them lately and it hurts not to see Juve pick em up, especially considering how much french players have always contributed to our side.

Really, Gervinho for 10m? And we signing Matri for 18m, eehh.
But Matri is more proven in the mighty serie A :dielaugh:

There are plenty of great deals that we can do out there. But we rather focus on players playing in serie A. Its a dump, stupid strategy that many clubs today (even most Italian clubs) are not doing it anymore.

Clubs in the league are getting better and better around us with those players coming from abroad and we're paying far more than them yet we're getting worse and worse every year.

Meeting with Lazio on Monday, after the lega calcio meetings.

Bronzetti working with a Higuain - Melo swap

Diarra is on 4,5 mln, we want to offer him 3 mln.

Vucinic first-choice for left side, Nani & Elia if we don't get Vucinic. Bastos also on the list.
