Woah, when did he? Inconsistency was Quag's middle name throughout his career. Vucinic too had kickass half seasons. Vucinic's 2nd part of 09/10 is something Quag can't play in 10 careers.

Yeah Vucinic would be cool, but not at the expence of a WC player. Although I'm really not that optimistic that we will bring a real WC player. So anyway Vucinic would be cool.

Well imo he is right though. First thing Trapatoni did when he took over he got us a good defence. The rest is history.

Maybe I'm just that time of guy, but I prefer to build my team from defence towards the attack, not the way around.

Maybe Vucinic is better talent-for-talent than Quagliarella, and if so by very little I'd say. Vucinic's inconsistency and inability to find form regularly really takes away from everything he has.

If I had to choose a player, I'd choose Quag. Because you can be the best player in the world, but if you can't show it what's the point?

Difference between Quag and Vuci throughout their careers, Quag has a decent half season then an average one (for example, I didnt see it as a foregone conclusion Quag would have kept scoring with us if he wasnt injured in 2nd half, like many assumed). Vuci has a very good to a top one, to then having an average second half (I dont just mean in goals, it isnt his forté, plus played winger too much to score that regular). Inconistencies arent the same. And there is a reason people are more dissapointed/criticise Vuci more, because he is expected to it more regurarly because he has the talent/quality to do it as he shows on his better days.
