Moggi:

Lichtsteiner is a player I like but Ziegler and Pazienza are two bench players who can't be starters in a competitive team.

Marchisio should be kept because he can be a good sub in a competitive team. Krasic too. De Ceglie on the other hand can be sold without much thinking.
I disagree about Lich, but he's right about Ziegler and Pazienza. He's also right about Marchisio, he is a good SUB.

young players cannot be expected to propel you back into CL contention.

even if we do go down that route, the fans are restless, we don't want to wait any more.
We need to be patient, we won't get back to the way we were in the 90's any time soon. It will take time, and even if we did qualify to CL we wouldn't make it through the group stages. This team is atleast 5 years away from being competitive in the CL. Some young players are capable of making an impact at young age, like Jovetic, and he was bought for cheap. I believe our scouts have been incompetent in recent years, since we are only capable of getting players that are good enough to be loaned to Empoli or Siena

The best part was about Marotta:
http://forum.juventuz.com/showthread.php?32954-Michele-Pazienza&p=3081850&viewfull=1#post3081850

If you're interested in what he said about Milan:

- No serie A team will sign a superstar this summer (like Milan did last summer when they signed Zlatan)
- Ibrahimovic will stay. I'm a good friend with Raiola and I can say...(that Ibra will stay in Milan)
 ... the man knows how to be a jackass :D

I don't expect to see any superstars coming to Serie A either ... regarding Milan, the only player they have been after, who fits in that category, is Fabregas and even that was always gonna be an uphill battle considering his Barca connection.

thanks for the info, Alen

Krasic is only good as a sub? I dont see camo as superior to Krasic let alone krasic's potential

I saw you said earlier today that Modric is the player you'd like us to sign. In two summers he and the other players from Croatia will most probably become EU passport holders:

"Croatia has met the requirements for closing the last four chapters in its EU entry talks, the European Commission (EC) said on Friday (June 10th), proposing July 1, 2013 as an indicative date for the Balkan country's admission into the EU as its 28th member.

"Today is a historic day for Croatia and for the EU," EC President Jose Manuel Barroso said in a statement, praising the Zagreb authorities and "the current government" in particular for their "hard work" towards achieving that goal.

Croatia, which began its accession talks with Brussels in October 2005, is now set to become the second former Yugoslav republic to join the EU, after Slovenia's entry as part of the bloc's big-bang expansion in 2004
."

Now if they can only accept Brazil in the EU :D

You don't think Camoranesi was better than Krasic?

What an odd thing to think.
Camo had better brains than Krasic and you can see that from his passing more than anything but he was inconsistent, injury prone and horribly prone to get red carded because of his temper. Krasic is a very different type of player with immense pace, by-line crosses and long runs. Camo didnt bring many goals/assists.. i honestly think Krasic will be much more productive.

In any case, why the hell are we considering Vargas, Bastos or Dsuzdzak (dunno the spelling) when both are very much inferior to Krasic.

Swiss players count like EU-players :D
The Swiss are considered EU players, despite their country not being part of the EU. So no problems here :D
really? Are you guys sure about this? ... sounds like discrimination to me? ... I guess that sneaky bastard Marotta does have some proper numbers in his phone book, after all.

and to think you have been bitching about Galliani all this time

Oh man I'd take modric over Aguero or Sanchez without a single second of doubt. I am surprised no italian team is linked with him.. he has said yesterday that he would move if something interesting comes about. He is not playing CL anyway so I am wondering why we or Milan havent approached him yet.

This is great news about Croatia.. I know you are Croatian and soon you'll be able to wonder freely around the continent.

Hopefully, the Euro sovereignty debt crisis will destroy the EU.

Nah, the EU will be fine. It cant afford to fall apart, it's the worlds second economy and needs to stick together to be able to compete with the US, China, Japan...

Switzerland is part of the European Free Trade Area, they have a special agreement with the EU, similar to Norway which is part of the European Economic Area, so their players are not considered as non-EU.
