Yep. I'm not saying he is great, I just think he is "good". And certainly better than the specimens that have plagued our LB position since he left.
Considering that we also let Balzaretti and Cassetti leave for peanuts and replaced them with Molinaro and Grygera, we really have football terrorists running our club since 2006.

Marotta?
He wasn't here when that happened.
Didn't he sold second part?

We have a rogue covert terrorist cell that has infiltrated the club.

Moggi let Cassani go for peanuts, in 2003.
Cassani started his career at Juventus and then left for Sampdoria on loan in January 2003. In summer 2003 he left for Hellas Verona on loan with option to buy him outright for €800,000, which the loan later extended for 1 more year. In June 2005, Verona bought him in co-ownership deal for €400,000.[1] With Juventus facing the 2006 Italian football scandal they terminated all co-ownership deals, either selling or buying back, Verona bought Cassani outright in June 2006 for an undisclosed fee, thought to be around €1.425M

The strongest thing Cassani has going for him is his beard, only because it's thicker than Viviano's and Nocerino's.
