Higuain and Dzeko costing less then Jovetic ?

bitch please, jovetic isnt moving for more then 25 mil whilst those two arent moving for less then 30 mil.

and for higuain, they could push that price to 35-40 considering how good he is.

then again, i refuse to believe real would sell him

- richest team in the world
- 1 striker system, two strikers for it
- both beeing worldclass in their specific niche (benzema as technical cf, higuain as clinical striker)

its THE excellent situation to be in. if real sells higuain, it would be because they'd get a better finisher then him.
First of all, I never said Higauin would cost less than Jovetic. Second, if you really want to know, I do think Jovetic will cost more than Higuain/Dzeko. Man City and Real don't need money that way and those two guys are not really needed over there. Jovetic is young, successful and will have all kinds of teams going after him. And after Palermo and Udinese selling Pastore and Sanchez for more than 40 million each last year, Viola would be stupid not to ask for something close to that.

i see your viewpoint, but i disagree :p

a team can allways use more money. considering city and real are in an extremely strong position, expecially real who make profit, and quite alot, considering ffp rules comming in effect, i can see them putting a very large price, and see what happens
they do not, need to sell. and if the players wants out, his agent can seek a team that can make the bid.

fiorentina ? weak position, cant offer the player a top salary. player will want to leave this summer. his agent will negotiate his exit.

Pastore ? they got very lucky psg wanted him at all costs, thus driving up the price. nobody with a right mind would have pay'd over 30 mil
Sanchez ? barcelona and chelsea in a bidding war, if it was only barcelona, i'm very certain they would have raped udinese with a 20 mil bid, expecting the player to riot if they refuse, like mes que un cunt allways does :tud:

you make it sound like that mercato would be a bad thing

if we cant financially support a 30 mil forward, then rossi+ ramirez is the best alternative
Not a bad thing per se.

If we got Torres/Dzeko + those players I'd be pretty excited.
If we got Rossi + those players I'd be content.

Now, if we got Torres/Dzeko + a better winger (Jovetic) + the rest of the players I'd be really really happy!

Dzeko especially I think will come at a good price. He's not needed in City and they want to ship him away so they can bring in someone new. Higuain I don't even believe we can sign and if Real do end up wanting to negotiate I think City will be there, probably to replace Dzeko with him. Chelsea could also be in the hunt since I think Abramovic will rebuild his old team next season.

Jovetic will be very expensive. All kinds of teams are after him and I think his price will be very high.

Forwards: Torres/Dzeko, Matri, Boriello, Destro/Gabbiadini, Vucinic, Pepe, Giovinco
Midfielders: Vidal, Pirlo, Marchisio, Padoin, Pazienza, Giaccherini, Marrone, Verratti
Defenders: Lichtsteiner, Barzagli, Bonucci, Chiellini, De Ceglie, Caceres, Ogbonna
Goalkeepers: Buffon, Storari, Leali

IN: Torres/Dzeko (on loan), Destro/Gabbiadini (5M), Boriello (8M) Giovinco (8M), Giaccherini (5M), Verratti (7M), Ogbonna (15M), Leali (?)
Total: 48M

Out: Del Piero (free), Grosso (free), Manninger (free), Estigarribia (free), Quagliarella (10M), Elia (6M), Krasic (10M), Melo (12M)
Total: 38M

That's a lot of money from sales, and a lot of wages free'd up.

I know I'm going to get a lot of slack for putting Boriello in the purchases list. I don't want him, but I think he'll be purchased. Conte seems to like him, and we need a lot of CF's if we get into Champions League next season. (Torres/Dzeko, Matri, Boriello and Destro/Gabbiadini sounds nice to me)

I know there was that rumour that Sky said Juventus will not buy Boriello, but I think that's bullshit. We'll probably haggle down his price though. I'm sure Roma want to offload him, and will accept a discounted price.

Also a youth player in every department makes me happy.

I can't see us getting 10m for Quag and Krasic, and I really hope we don't waste 8m on Borriello.
I think 10M is realistic and feasible. Maybe 8M? How much are you thinking?

As for Boriello, I don't either. If we do sign him - hopefully its not for 8M.

Big if. No, our problem is not merely finishing. That's a simplistic view of looking at things. You fail to realize we aren't competing in Europe this season.

We need someone to unlock those pesky teams, a player with creation/invention, someone with that spark (Suarez/Jojo) to replace Pepe in that RWF position.

Milan have Ibra, we have no one, and with Europe next year, we will need someone of that caliber at all costs, otherwise we will just be onlookers in every competition, without seriously threatening to win anything, not even Serie A or the Coppa.

I think Pepe and Vucinic, and the rest of the team, have supplied Matri/Boriello/Quag with many opportunities per game to score they just fail to do it. If they finished those chances more often, we would have beaten those teams.

I just can't see us dropping 30M on Jojo or Saurez. Obviously I'd want them, why would I want Boriello :)inter:), but I just can't see us dropping big money this summer on one player.

Quaq can be creative and helpful to the CF, but Conte seems to favor a midfield, who can also trackback and have some decent defending skills, that's why he favors Pepsi over forwards like quaq.
So, an all out SS, like jovetic is out of question.
We will just replace krasic with an Italian RM/WINGER. (giovinco could)
For the Cf we will buy an Italian prolific finisher, hopefully we will realise that Borriello isn't such and opt for Fossil (but might end up on a Di Natale like)
I sure hope that we will buy a CB to perma replace Bonucci though.

oh shut the fuck up

-vidal and vucinic werent italians
-we have allready stated to go for quality instead of quantity, and the past years, we needed a solid base wich we got now
- our defence is by far and long the best in italy, we got excellent fullbacks in lich and de ceglie(who is impressing this year) and excellent centrebacks with chiellini and barzagli. with bonucci beeing a decent backup and caceres beeing an excellent versatile solid player for fullback or centreback

And licht and estig and elia.
But the point is that we got rid of more foreigners and the italjuve project is still our priority over performance.
Esp the winter mercato proved and the general proportion of Italian players since marotta came.
Conte is instructed to use as much as Italians as possible, that's why he insists at giving more chances on padoin, borriello and bonucci, rather than melo, krasic/elia and sorensen.
And it doesn't matter if those Italians do their best to disqualify from the cup and title race.
If we win anything, we must win it with Italians, not with authority...

And we NEVER opted for quality over quantity since Moggi, never, each and every transfer window we spread our cash on mediocre players, always finding lame excuses to postpone the investment on wc players for next year...

Nothing is significantly different between Giovinco and Ramirez.

So to spend double the money on Ramirez than you would spend on Giovinco is dumb IMO.

We need two players in the forward department.

Elia, Krasic, and Esti are likely on their way out. Borriello, and potentially Quag will leave as well.

Dzeko on loan with obligation to buy + Jojo/Suarez is not unrealistic, and would elevate our attacking play to a whole new level.

Di Marzio, "Torres is not a target for Juventus: the costs are prohibitive"

To make things worse

Galatasaray'll try ricontrattare the hiring of Felipe Melo. Juventus, last summer, has given Brazilian midfielder on loan with the right of redemption set at 13 million but the company in Istanbul, reported by the website "Turkish Football", would put on the plate 7 million just to make sure the player outright . Melo, nine goals this season, has repeatedly reaffirmed its intention to remain in Turkey.
