"a few bucks" - suuuuuure. There was absolutely no way we were competing with City for Agüero. They could offer Atlético more money (transfer fee of €45m), they could offer the player more money (~€10m a season after tax), and they could offer the player Champions League football.

Regarding Nesta, I still think he's great. He'd really suit the Juve shirt, always wanted to see him in one.
I really wish we'd pushed hard for him back in the day. I always preferred Nesta to Cannavaro.

Back in the day I was checking the sports news every day to make sure he hadn't gone anywhere, and I'd edit him into the Juventus team on video games.

Presumably Melo is talking about a hypothetical situation, because Pirlo wasn't totally wanted by Allegri, but Nesta is still very important for them.

Van Persie is the sort of player you can risk going for if you already have a top team and are looking to add another top player just so you have him as a weapon instead of another team, a bit like when Barcelona went for Ibrahimovic.

We would basically spend most of our budget on a 28 year old guy in his prime in the hope he has the same form and doesn't get injured. I'd be terrified if we did that, even if he is class.

Tuttomerdasportweb says that we are after Caracciolo.

I was reading this article saying that Allegri and Nesta are having problems, he was supposed to play against Arsenal two weeks ago but was dropped mysteriously.

Unfortunately I think he is way too loyal to play for all Lazio, Milan and Juventus.

IIRC he refused to Milan captaincy out of love for Lazio? It will take a lot to convince him of coming here.

So man city are supposedly after Ramirez now as well :sergio:

Fuck that club, fuck it with a rusty bread knife
Lol no way they are going for him, he is no better then Adam Johnson so far (who fyi is playing fantastic for them recently, before some idjet lols), and they would defenitely go for someone more high profile/shown more talent then him.

He is still a professional that is looking out for the best of his career, and if Milan doesnt want him then we are pretty much best option for his career. But I also see him going back to Lazio.

wonder who is more important to replace in the front 3, Mirko or Pepe?
That is a very big question . Seeing how vucinic is playing i will give up my hate for giovinco and get him to replace vucinic seeing as he should not cost a lot and lavezzi to replace pepe .
