Fuck Rossi BECAUSE we can do better.

How is that?
Yea fuck that little faggot. We need a top player up front which wont happen if we sign that cocksucker
Can we actually do better? Unless we get Higuain, Suarez, Jovetic (huge feats to accomplish) what other player is better than Rossi?

If you want a goalscorer get Rossi for a good price, and buy a quality winger like Lavezzi.

Why do we need Rossi again? Oh right, we don't!

I thought we were criticizing Marotta for not getting us a superstar and now we want to get Rossi so he can replace who? Quag or Matri? Because you're fooling yourself if you think he's a second striker.
Yes, definitely to replace Quag or Matri. What you mean he's not a second striker?

I want us to get an excellent winger (i.e. Lavezzi, Jovetic, Nani, etc) and than get Rossi. That would be an excellent attack.

He'd be optimal as a CF/SS IMO.

Vucinic - Rossi - Lavezzi

Rossi - Matri

All I know is that we definitely need a winger to replace Pepe, because it'll look bad if he's in our starting 11 next year.

Bro, he was bought because the Rossi deal fell through, not just because of the price but because Villareal took him off the market. At the same price or something similar, like I said, it would've been a no contest.

Uruguayans are usually ok. Brazillians get fat the second they get cash.
I said that, about 8 months ago, and the crap i received because of that...

also, on that argument earlyer : giovinco ,

welcome, if you come as a teamplayer, who works for his place like everyone else
fuck off to some other bottom side team, if you demand a starter place after doing well at a relegation team build around you

Imagine if we bought Rossi for €30-35 mill and he got injured in sept. out for the rest of the season.

Between his injury and Quag's last year, we would have been proper fucked.

i think we need 3 players to join for that trio upfront. but i cant see us being able to afford the best in all three positions.

i would like to see jovetic and hazard join...i cant see us spending big on a striker, i would try to loan torres. get back giovinco to rotate. have quags and matri in the squad as well...use vucinic as bait to get others.

Oh yeah, that would have been bad. It's good that the deal fell through, now we have Vucinic who is a quality player but grossly inconsistent but he's a good addition to our forward line and adds great depth.

Forwards: Matri, Quagliarella, Vucinic, Rossi, Lavezzi/Jovetic
Midfielders: Vidal, Pirlo, Marchisio, Marrone, Padoin, Pogba, Giaccherini, Pepe
Defenders: Lichtsteiner, Caceres, Barzagli, Chiellini, Bonucci, De Ceglie, CB/LB

In: Rossi 15-20M, Jovetic/Lavezzi 25M, Giaccherini 5M, Pogba free, Caceres 8M, CB/LB 8M
Total: 61M-66M

Buffon
Lichtsteiner - Barzagli - Chiellini - De Ceglie
Vidal - Pirlo - Marchisio
Lavezzi - Rossi - Vucinic

Storari
Caceres - Bonucci - Chiellini - CB/LB
Padoin - Marrone - Pogba
Pepe - Matri/Quag - Giaccherini

Fuck! Are we still talking about that undercooked meatball? It's been over 24 hours since my last post, and about 14 pages later in this thread, we are still talking about Fucking Rossi :sergio: :wallbang:

Yes, he is good. No, he is not great! Better than Vucinic? Debatable! More consistent and a better scorer? Yes. Vucinic has the better skills set and the ability to create moments of magic (even if few and far between) that Rossi doesn't possess. However, neither of them is World Class, nor ever will be; one is too inconsistent, the other doesn't simply possess the ability to reach that level.

Suarez, Rooney, Benzema, Jovetic (even if not at the level of WC yet), Van Persie, Tevez, Ibra, and Aguero, are just a few of the names that spring to mind who are in that bracket.

Jovetic is the one we need to break the bank on.

Suarez = cheating scum, mental defective (biting humans)
Rooney = haggis with receding hairline, mongoloid
Benzema = pedophile that pays for sex
Van Persie = class, but too many questions over long-term fitness
Tevez = class, but professed his undying love for Galliani, lessens his standing in my eyes
Aguero = would not join

@Melo

Vucinic, he can do things Rossi can only dream of.
Rossi can score. That's what strikers are supposed to do or does that rule not apply for Vucinic?

I think its pretty safe to assume that we won't be buying two strikers worth over 20M. You just can't expect Marotta to land Rossi + Lavezzi/Jovetic etc.

I wouldn't mind Rossi...but I would be really pissed at Marotta if he got him while Suarez\Jojo\Cavani or any other WC striker was within our reach.
That being said I don't mind Vucinic...but Matri is the one that pisses me off!! Don't like him :( sell asap!

Jovetic would be so good because he's so versatile and excellent in all those positions. (winger, striker, playing behind the strikers, etc)
