Oh come on, Giovinco was an Azzurrini god. :D Raggi, Motta, Cigarini, Dessena were all Azzurrini ballers. Can't really take what players do at that level as a good gauge, especially when he's played 13 games. His club stats are shit.

@Nzoric- a brand of jeans

Yes. Why are you asking such banalities? I thought you had a point hidden behind that question, which is why I asked you to elaborate.
You asked me to elaborate on my question, not the reason why I was asking. :D

If you watch them, then you will notice how much the front 3 move across the front line and rotate through out the game, so to say the Jovetic will be wasted on the right is sorta REDONK. JoJo is more than able to overlap and switch sides with Mirko as the game play dictates, it wouldn't be a problem.

giovinco and jovetic up front, whilst keeping pirlo in the middle

sorry nzoric, but your formation would get raped easely

you field a trident, with 2 players totally unable to pressure the opponents build up play efficiently, vucinic alone isnt gonna do alot.
you support them, by 1 regista that has no physical qualities, and 2 boxmidfielders, that are supposed to do all the pressing, whilst keeping the midfield locked
that wont work.
if we want to pressure, vidal and marchisio would be required to press high, leaving the centre of the midfield extremely exposed
if we dont do that, they will build up the play very far, and easely keep alot of possession.
not to mention, we would get our asses handed by counter attacks if we decide to play high
if we would get the ball, it would be far to close to our own goal, asking physically weak players to cover alot of ground, making someone like giovinco easely neutralised

It would work, if you replace pirlo, by a physically imposing, dictating strong centre midfielder, playing behind marchisio and vidal.
pirlo would be replaced by players like de rossi, schweinsteiger, mascherano, madrids pepe in cdm, cambiasso, essien prime, etc
in that situation, marchisio and vidal could pressure all over the pitch, while the centre is protected by this CM. he'll also dictate the play. the forwards can soly focus on helping the pressure, and in possession, creating space, high up the field. they would get to play very high up the field, maximising their potential.

Since i am pretty sure we arent close to signing any of the CM's able to cover that role,i'm afraid it will not go trough
