he has good technique and a good personality he can become better again that is what people tell me
if you saw the game with bologna you can see his technique when he actually comes out from 2 people with the ball on his legs and that also shows a lot of personality you need that for what he did if you lose that ball that could become a goal from your opponent and that iss also a good thing in young players
as i said he is not a pirlo type
the one who actually remotely reminds me of zanetti is pazienza
i hope marrone doens't get lost but i think that with conte he can grow even more
one of the reasons why he is still at juve is because conte didn't wanted him to leave since he knew his tactics from the time at siena at first when we were supposed to play with the 442 pirlo marchisio vidal pazienza were thought to be enough for the championship conte blocked him

if you want the new pirlo they say schiavone could become the new one
and for gabriel the ones who have actually seen him in training have told me he is a xabi alonso type althrough this is not very sure
I seem to have developed a fascination with the more talented Appelt brother, a few months back...and at some point soon I will try to collate all the information I have found about him into a decent post. As a brief overview:

He seems more comfortable on his left peg, very comfortable and capable on the ball, brilliant range of passing, mainly stays deep, can tackle, mark (ask Ronaldinho), shoot. Also...he seems to have that always useful ability to dictate the pace of the flow of a game. The Alonso comparison seems apt. Sandreani, amongst others, spoke very highly of his potential, and from what I have seen and read of him, he appears to have wonderful potential...but...only a football supporter who saw him week in week out at Resende before we signed him could give us a more certain opinion. From my own viewpoint Gabriel (whose name never fails to remind me of the archangel) is potentially a wonderful find. Also...the fact that we signed his brother, who has shown far less on the pitch, against decent footballers in Brazil, suggests, in a optimistic way, that Gabriel is special. Could we really have signed a true gem, for such a paltry fee??? So much depends on how he adapts to Italian football. I have high hopes for the lad, and haven't been as excited about a youngster we have purchased ever before. If he can win awards in a decent brazilian league for best newcomer and 2nd highest rated midfielder, at such a young age...he must have something.

I dont mind Patience, but getting Pizarro is a must in my view,
if pizzarro come than pazienzas space shrinks since conte always plays him at pirlos position
i don't think he sees pazienza as marchisios or vidals subs he has prefered to play pepe and giac at marchisios place so i think that he will stay in tribuna for a lot of time if he comes

What was the fee? I have it down as €2.5m, which is not loose change for a 17 year old playing in the national second tier. Yet, it could be an absolute steal.

I thought it was 1.5m for the two of them, JJ. Even at that price, its a hefty fee for two brothers from a very small, provincial club in the rio state league...and from what I know of YOU, your understanding of the game is top notch, and like me, you will probably be interested in the fact that we signed his brother alongside him, when his brother, little Willy, had achieved nothing compared to the archangel...

Not now; in the summer. Borriello is nothing compared to Suarez, so I'd gladly send him back to Roma, sealed with a kiss, if it meant sacrificing his STD infested ass for Suarez.

Suarez, Shaqiri/Ramirez, and Benatia in the summer :tuttosport:
