Yea man i know, we have lost more than that and i dont blame anyone directly.
But its in our best interest to actually make a honest effort to minimize damages and sell him.
Just accord this matter more attention than Montolivo's caps and Tevez unrealistic dreams.

I sure hope that Conte has a say, i actually pray that he has, as the board are proven incompetent , beyond any doubt!

I also hopes he succeeds and force them with his success to obey his will, at least in a degree.
How is that?

Cron, how about Montolivo and a CB in January? Would it be good in your opinion?
As long as we get starter CB or LB, i wont mind Montolivo.
What i do mind is to waste 70% of our transfer window at trying to sign Tevez, spend 15 to panick buy Montolivo, just for the sake of it.
Agree to extend Melo's loan until his contract expires and sign a free Giaccherini like CB in the last day of the transfer window.

Our priority, main need and greatest weakness should have been to deal with the starter issues.
The majority of time and resources should focus on them.

Secure them and then i dont mind what he does next, honestly, but compromise them to buy more mediocre Italians we dont need, esp for the two position we have spending in each and every transfer window and you make me made.

The most recent example was Vucinic, we ve spent the biggest sum to get him , imo he was completely unneeded since we decided to keep Quaq and Giovinco's case is still open.
But again i wouldnt mind him, just like i wont mind Montolivo now, if we give priority to buy a starter LB or CB
Marotta made a compromise on the LB by acquiring a free garbage player, in order to save money for Vucinic acquisition, then spent all his efforts to buy him, that didnt have any spare time or money to land a starter CB or LB and further compromised our chances and waste our limited money with the Elia panic buy, which was done just for the sake of it...

If he secures a CB or LB of Licht quality, then i just dont mind what he does from then on.

But as it happened in the past transfer window, as it happens in every transfer window of the past 6 years, we never get our priorities right, we compromise our needs and end up with players we dont need.
I made a similar declaration in the past transfer window on the Vucinic CB dilemma and all the optimists were sure that a great CB was coming on loan and Vucinic was just the overkill, they were believing that i was wrong even until the last day of the transfer window.
They just forgot that we made the very same mistake in the previous transfer window and the previous before and again and again...

I m only here to remind you that and i m still surprised how easily ppl are ready to forget, just for the promise of a new face...

just read the first pages of his thread and see what was our forumers drooling for when his first season with us started,
see who was criticizing him and for what during all that season and even before we got him.
then come back and be smartass you are trying to be...

(or just make another account and post the same crappy mocking one liners...)
Alright, you want a argument. Fine 2 questions

1) When did you get the idea that Amuari was a SS
2) You just bitch about the Pirlo transfer a couple days ago, why?

Hey welcome aboard, you will soon find out that logic can be easily overlook in here, if there isnt a voice of reason to repeat the same things.
We have a tendency to forget our mistakes and repeat them, EACH and EVERY year.
It may sound hilarious at the beginning, but after 6 consecutive seasons of repeating the very same mistakes and learn nothing from them, it isnt!

The mistakes we committed were painfully obvious for me, BEFORE we committed, as i objected even to their eventuality as we were considering them, i ve explained in great detail, why it is the wrong procedure and where it will inevitably lead us.
But we just did it anyway, it led us where it would obviously pointed out and then we just repeated the same mistake again and again and again.

Sorry that i just cant stand besides and see us hitting our face on the very same wall again and again and again, sorry for trying to speak about an alternative path, the side step that would allow us to go forward, or at least save us from reaching the very same no way outs again.

It is painfully obvious now again, that we need some defensive and left flank reinforcements, the attack and midfield are working well.
Further boosting them and further ignoring our actual issues, that affect us in each and every match game, without ifs and maybes, is just stupid...

If we solve our problems, i wont mind Montolivo and any other nonsense transfer we can think off, but i just dont want to see us walking circles for the 7th consecutive time.
There was a 5 years plansdestined to fail for specific reasons, from the very first day it was announced, it did fail for the obvious reasons, it is now the time to change strategy and start a different approach or at least make an effort to keep a balanced attitude.
For next year mercato, you are absolutely right, we shouldn't get anymore CMs or SSs, we should have LB and CB as priority.
But we can't critisize this year's mercato for getting too many CMs and SSs. All Pirlo, Vidal, Pazienza and Vucinic were needed.
If next year we get Monotolivo and don't get a proper Lb then I'll be the first one to join your band, but let's wait and see.

So Cron, you would be mad if we couldn't sign a top class CB/LB this winter? What if no one wants to sell their best defenders half way through a season? Are you going to be pissed that the BoD for that too, even though it wouldn't be their fault no one will sell?

Would De Rossi accept the bench? If yes, then sign him if possible.
Otherwise, no thank you.

Hummels and Ansaldi in January please ;)

Hmm how can Conte be given 100% credit and Marotta all the blame. Conte's 4-2-4 (which i don't mind in 'theory') is the reason we have 15 useless wingers. Elia (7m) + Krasic (13m) would've got us that one more WC defender, if only Conte had seen the 4-3-3 the right way from the beginning.

since when should we force ourselves into a certain pattern ?
we got the players for both 4-2-4, 4-4-2 and 4-3-3 heck, even 4-2-3-1
versatility, it wins you games when players get injured

second, sorry cron, but vucinic has been an essential link for us up front.
last year quag got a centerrole, when he and krasic got marked, our gameplan ended. just before his horrific injury, we allready were having troubles.

vucinic however, is a very important link in the team when playing against good opponents that dont defend with 10players. hard to mark considering his position, and if they do, he creates space for others.
thats an essential thing for our system, and he is just plain better at it then quag.

about the cm's...

we got marchisio transforming into a monster, vidal beeing impressive, pirlo beeing beyond expectations, giving us the best midfield in serie a.

oh, and at the back, we only didnt cover LB, since there werent good deals. now chiello is covering it, we only got bonucci who underperforms.
but, he performs alot better then eighter of the fullbacks last year.

our team got improved alot in the summer. licht, esti, vidal, pirlo and vucinic were good transfers, taking pepe allready payd off as he is one of the best of the team currently. whilst conte's biggest achievement obviously is marchisio.

so yeah, marotta did a very good job last summer, and conte aswel

before the season started, we were extremely happy with top 3

as it stands, there are 3 teams in italy

we lead milan by 2 points and napoli by some more

napoli will keep sucking at rotation and milan will go far into CL

i have much faith in a top two finish, and we should cherish our lead
