I don't think that's a good idea. Chiellini was making bonehead mistakes before he got switch to the left back position. Barzagli was the only one holding it down in the center.

I also believe that Chiellini lacks composure and he tends to make rash decisions while under pressure.

He was giving the same performances that Bonucci is giving right now.
