Is Nani not starting lately? I only ended up watching the first few round of EPL before I started puking. I can see players wanting to leave Man U for us if we're successful this year. Manchester would be a shitty place to live no matter how much you're getting paid. Why would any club in their right mind want to let go of Nani though? Manure will be asking big bucks for him unless its true they actually don't value him which I really don't get.

He's having a normal season.

He just plays a few great games a year, so people say he's the greatest thing since sliced bread, ignoring the dozens of indifferent showing he puts it.
It's funny how nobody game a damn about him when he was deployed as a LB, producing mediocre results after results. It's not even like he even has any dribbling skills.

Realistically, we are going to spend most of our cash, on a new SS, just like we do each and every year, for the past six season.
With DP retiring, it will be easier than ever to justify our annual waste of cash.

Then we will gift away Krasic and try to replace him with an Italian player, or at least someone playing in Italy.

And then, if we have any cash left, we might start looking the search for a new LB or CB,in the last 2-3 days of the transfer window...
Mean time, we will be securing yet another free mediocre Italian midfielder, loaning away our most promising youngsters with an option to buy.
After all that, there will be hardly any more time left to find a team for Iaq, Amauri or Toni, so we will be keep paying their huge salaries, until they are released for free...

Our priorities should be:
1)LB
2) sell 2 of those 3
3) see if we can bring back Giovinco
4) See if we can upgrade Bonucci
5) With the rest of the money and all the other issues fixed, try to buy the best finisher we can.

The first 2 priorities, should be and can be met at the Jan transfer window.
We should start paving the way from now for 3-4
And then start the new summer transfer worrying about a finisher CF, not a dribbler SS and a winger, depending on how it worked out until the end of the season.

Matri is our finisher and he's doing a pretty good job at it so far. If we were going to buy a striker I would rather upgrade Vucinic to be honest. An SS that's consistent, classy and knows how to score. I wonder if we would be able to go through a whole season with CL playing Pirlo each game. If we make CL I see a lot more buys for depth on their way.

Just watching Sky Sports News now and one of the pundits said we're linked with Hugo Rodallega? Amazed and all as I was by such an extraordinary rumour, it was more disappointing to hear how normal this seemed to them, completely ignorant and arrogant :(

its ok! if sky got everything right, then the likes of Vieri would have returned to play for us, and inler would be a Juventus player, and vidal... well either for napoli or bayern munich and one of storari and manninger would have left the club by now

I'd never believe for one second that this transfer would come to fruition, it was just the casual manner in which they spoke about the rumour. As if we'd really be looking at someone of his 'ability', like he was on our level.

Buffon
Licht-Barza-Chiellini-Ciss/Ansald
Vidal-Pirlo-Marchisio
Quag----Vucinic
Matri

I would be more than happy to see that next season. Especially if Barzagli keeps up his amazing form.

Signing just one player for next season would be stupid. If we want to be great again we sure need someone els insted of Quag there. A player like Hazard, Nani, Shaqiri etc.. And also a world class CB.. + extra midfielder.
