He can't influence the game as much as he can from a little deeper and there's been several times Cerci has got into great positions only to look up and realise there was no-one arriving in the box.
Fiorentina may well have beaten Napoli and Lazio if Gilardino had been playing, as he would have finished off Cerci's good play.
