Hot names:

Cavani: Target #1
Dzeko, RvP, Suarez, Torres, Higuain, JoJo: other options
Destro(inter wants him too), Gabbiadini, Ocampos.
Giovinco: Napoli interest, Juve if Conte really wants him.
Asamoah: 10-12m + Paz + Branescu is the offer. They want DC.
Meireles: I don,t believe that rumour.
Tiote: Could be a surprise.
Pogba
Verratti
Leali; If we send him on loan we could get his teammate Arcari to be 3rd keeper.
Astori, Bocchetti: options at CB.
LB/LWB? Capuano, Digne, Kolarov(inter interest), Bale :p...
RW? Kalou, Di Maria(too $$$), Ramirez, Markovic...

So all those scouting trips Paratici always be in those Chelsea game is for a freebie in Kalou , there must be more to it.
What about the rumors linking us up with Assou Ekotto for LB position ?

Mark how much are we prepared to offer for Cavani?
    35 MAX I guess.

Anyone like the idea of getting Bale? though he's a known player, not much hype surrounding him like the season before and all factors considered atm I think it's easier to sign him now.
I think he'd be great here on the left of a 3-5-2 but it depends what Tottenham want. I know they'd like to have Krasic but the $$$ would still be high.

I read that rumour but did he say later he didn't want to leave? :boh:

Love all of that. Except I really hope we don't get rid of DC.

What do you guys think about Afellay? Some wing depth? He could also play in the midfield I believe. I know we were interested last summer, so I'm just curious.

Afellay for depth would be ok, but we need a quality RWF as a starter. Our options in attack are very average and limited compared to other competitors/contenders. We need a lot of investment in that department, as the only quality striker/forward we currently have is Vucinic.

Bale is quality, but I'd rather spend that money elsewhere. We need to be wise/shrewd with our acquisitions. British players always go for far more than they are worth. Liverpool's English purchases are testament to that.

In: Suarez (30 Million), Damiao (20 Million), Destro (5 Million on a co-ownership agreement), Verrati (7 Million Euros), Asamoah [12 Million + player(s)], Astori (8 Million), Pogba (free), Giovinco (7 Million)

Total Outlay: 89 Million Euros (a substantial investment, but we get to strengthen the entire squad considerably).

We can then sell the likes of Melo, Ziegler, Elia, Krasic, and even Gio and Matri if necessary to generate anywhere between 30 and 60 Million Euros.

Ideally, both. In any case, our attack need a lot of reinforcement, and Gio is primarily a left sided player (we already have Vucinic there). We most definitely need an upgrade over :pepedinho: and I won't mind if :matri: is sold.

JoJo could be awesome as a 2'nd striker in a 3-5-2, or perhaps less useful as a RWF in a 4-3-3. I'd go for Ramirez as he's more versatile, and less injury prone. Since Sergio rates him so Highly, I'm sure he's going to be awesome

No, no it's not. Ramirez will not be the next Martinez, he's only 21 and is already better than Malaka at Catania. Gio is destined to be a Miccoli, Pellisier, Di Natale, Di Vaio type player. Ramirez will be big.

 This discussion is headed nowhere. I'd love to have both, but if I had to choose, my vote goes to Ramirez. He can play RWF or SS, and he's younger and stronger than Gio.

Gio will not be displacing Vuci, and he's unlikely to be pleased with riding the bench. Ramirez - Cavani - Vucinic front 3, is clearly superior to Pepe - Cavani -Gio.
