I think they said that now he has actually has to have two surgeries and that he would be out 10 months.

Thats at least to February, if everything goes acording to plan. I dont think anyone will come in for him before next June, if he recovers.

I dont want RvP like that, that could $#@! us in the future. He's on his top now, I think he has a max of one or two seasons on that level and he'll start going downhill then... too big of a risk.
10 months is a long time .. but teams are real desperate when they go down and so are players. I bet we could offer him alot less then he would typically accept in terms of wages just inorder for him to have a deal and some security. It would be niceto have a bit more quality in the squad longterm, in addition to our big money signings.

I would take Rossi over most of our strikers we currently have even if we only benefit from his presence next year.

I confirm what I've written the last days: Verratti and Pogba will play for Juve next season.

Cavani is sill the primary target, Conte really wants him. Matri, Giovinco and De Ceglie are the names proposed for an exchange.

Juve make Van Persie offer
By Football Italia staff

Juventus have discussed contract terms with the agent of Arsenal’s Robin Van Persie, reports La Stampa.

According to the publication, the player’s representative flew into Turin on Friday and left on Saturday morning.

In between flights, he allegedly spoke with the Old Lady where a four-year contract worth €7.5m a season was discussed.

Nevertheless, a summer move to the Italian champions may still not be on the horizon for the Dutch international.

Van Persie will now hold talks with Arsenal over a new contract that is currently set to expire in June 2013.

If no agreement is reached, then Juventus will still have to negotiate a fee with the London club for the forward.

La Stampa is suggesting that Arsenal will want around €25m for the player who would also be of interest to the likes of Manchester City.

Juventus are searching for a couple of top players to boost their hopes of challenging for the Champions League next season.

DC is interesting, I think the biggest surprises in the mercato will be in defense. Not necessarily big name players, maybe just players that have not been speculated about yet.

Lets say we have to pay him 30 million €, salary of 7.5 for 4 years, that is another 30, plus taxes, thats another 30...

So he would effectively cost us 90 million € and he is already 29. I dont think he will be playing on the same level as he is now with 33.

Not worth the risk. If he was 2 years younger I'd take it in a heartbeat.

Vucinic-Dzeko-Gio?

Vucinic-Cavani-Gio?
Meh. Not a huge leap in quality, especially with the 1'st formation. Gio can't really operate on the right.

Vucinic - Dzeko/Damiao - Suarez OR Vucinic - Cavani - Ramirez

Neymar and Lucas from Brazil would be awesome; we should keep our eye on Lucas, as Neymar is in the "impossible" bracket.

Sky: Juventus interested in 27 year old Villarreal midfielder Borja Valero. With Villarreal's relegation, he might come cheap.
If this guy comes, we won't be going after Veratti then.

Verratti = Pirlo
Pogba = Vidal
Marrone = Marchisio

I like it. Why do we need Asamoah?
By the lack of games Marrone had, i think Conte doesn't have complete faith on him.

We will surely sign a LB , regardless of De Ceglie status.
