Seems that we are close to get another young midfielder from Lens... Seems that we want to provide the midfield for all Serie B teams next season
Nothing new here. At least we can afford it now, since we at least know whom we can start next year and actually win a game. Then there is the debacle on Melo as well. I feel we want to dispose of him first, before striking a deal for his replacement (especially wage-wise). Add to that the fact we could use him in a swap and not get raped later in the transfer market when its obvious we have no place for him in the team.
If we get Pogba(99% chance imho), Veratti(75%) one of Radja/Asamoah/Alike(75%) we are well (over)stocked in midfield.

No need to rush anything and we can use the break to sort out who will stay and who will be loaned.
The three actual positions of interest are : CF, RWF and LB. Everything else seems sorted even now.
LB - Cissokho - 7m - if there's truth in the amount and following reports it seems like a good deal. Sure, I would prefer Perreira, but FCP rape teams on the transfer market for fun and there are always teams ready with vaseline when they open shop. Cissokho, De Ceglie and Chiello/Caceres emergency shift would be more than sufficient.
CF - Torres, Cavani, Falcao, Dzeko, Damiao - all the

goes here. No need to comment further, my opinion is Falcao 1st, Cavani 2nd, Torres 3rd. Then all depends on price tags and salary expectations. Key player needed.
RWF - Giovinco, Ramirez,
Suarez - that is of paramount importance to me. Most knowledgeable folks here are claiming that Pepe would be 1st choice and at best we would get Ramirez/Giovinco type of player. For me Suarez is making this position key. He is the one that could turn this mercato into a dreamy one and give us another dimension in our attacks. Sure he isn't the best winger, but he is tactically adept, hard-working, willing to sacrifice for the team, have stellar technique and is decently fast with the ball - therefore crossing and adapting to a RWF/LWF role should be just his cup of team. His specialty is his vision for goals and that's what we badly lack. Vucinic creates more than he scores and a mould of winger/striker like Suarez would make the pair hit 40 goals/assists between each other. I would bet my money on that.
If the CF is Falcao I would piss in my pants, alas Cavani would be mind blowing with those two as well. Maybe the fan speaks here, but that will be one of the top 5 attacks in the world and with the team behind it - semi-finals in the CL/scudetto are realistic goals EACH season.
