If we sell for 30 (which I doubt, because his annual amortization is 10m, and we'll record a big loss), after buying him for 28+Iling+Barrenechea, it will pretty much translate to selling Iling+Enzo for 2m euro. Awful business.

But if it's a straight swap for Zirkzee, it will mean that we got Zirkzee for 26m+Iling+Barrenechea, which might turn out to be a good deal.

I'm not up with all the financial ins and outs, but swapping Luiz for a striker is something we should be looking do. Get rid of a useless fuck and bring in somebody for a position we desperately need covered.

Wouldn't mind Rashford. He can play on the wings or as striker. Has a lot to prove and lots of talent. Also we know Utd is a toxic place.
Worth a try for the rest of the year.

On the other hand I don't feel there are any players we could bring in who I'd feel confident could make a positive impact on our attacking output.

The coaching is terrible. As bad for the attack as Allegri, with ostensibly much more talented attacking players.

Good player but his injury record and JMedical being the shit show that is makes this a hard pass for me.

Talent is definitely there however at the same time he is proven to be not just injury prone but rather also suspect defensively in terms of positioning and reading of the game, ultimately won’t be cheap either…

I guess the main positive is the potential that he will improve with more experience, then his versatility to cover as a defensive minded RB is a plus too, along with the fact that the italian school of defending and tactics can only benefit a CB that is willing to learn.

Now if Barcelona are really pushing to offload him is very likely not just because they need the funds but also because they’ve given up on him completely, which is a worrying sign when knowing he’s long been hyped as a future captain there and are currently even considering loaning him out.
