Yeah, you are right.

He went even worse, full force.

He sold them Serie A current 3rd top goal-scorer for peanuts and splashed huge chunk of money on Nico, who played like 3-4 games for us.

Stop defending what can't be defended.

You, @Robee , @campionesidd and @DanielSz were dead wrong.

Time to leave the dark side and jump off the Giuntoli lap which you rode so long.

We're welcoming you back to the cool squad. But only if you apologize to me, @Lion, @Bjerknes and @JCK.
In what? Only if we don't end up fourth, this overhaul will be deemed a failure.

The anti-Giuntoli brigade doesn't get much further than using cherry-picked arguments. Bringing down the salaries and age drastically meant the restart we should've had ages ago. But we need to get that CL money, sure.

The obvious negatives for now are the way the exits are handled (Chiesa, Allegri, Danilo,...) and more importantly the results up 'till now but I think we can turn that around with less injuries. If you think every buy will be a hit and every sold player will fail miserably, I have a newsflash...

Not at all, they are wingers and one AM.

Zirkzee is a false 9 striker, basically likes dropping deep, playmaking and roaming to combine with others. He is basically a bigger more physical Firmino.
Thanks. I haven't seen much of him.

But why as a striker was 13 goals in 2 years at Bologna considered a big success then?

Because exactly for all the things he was doing outside scoring. Dribbling, driving, possession, basically knows where and who to pass before he got the ball in that system.

And first season wasn't really considered a success, just an improvement. Last season was considered for scoring 11 and being more or less the teams creative hub/talisman. He was more or less the key point for Motta system with his role.

And I was against signing him exactly because he doesn't score enough, but if there's one coach which can unlock his overall game ala a Firmino, then it would be under Motta again.

But we don't have a Mo Salah he can assist who will score most of the goals.

Where would he play in our team?
Vlahovic role basically. So basically his backup or rotation option.

Something happened to him, his passes, stoping the ball and vision are awful. Just like he forget how to play football. Maybe the enviroment and pressure are reasons for that. But we are not much better in this.

I have one player suggestion, Lucas Bergvall, this club will get millions of new female fans if we can get him

Look at this specimen @Lion
I like him a lot, not just because he's blonde like me. Too bad he's at Hot Spurts forever.

His link up play is fantastic. Sadly, other than Mckennie or Koop, we don't have anybody else to finish his chances. Maybe with prime Ronaldo on the wing.

This rumor also seems to gain some traction, finally one which indicates that we might actually have a talent scout out there for the first team too after all.

Ohh! What a surprise that jmedical are also our scouts. It all makes sense now.
