yeah, ill just stfu because i have some jinxing power and his injury would be pretty much a disaster for us
I’d recommend us jinxing how fit and always available the likes of Barella, Bastoni and Di Marco are, or even Kvara, Buongiorno and McTominay, i’m quite intrigued by it, such specimens need be studied more closely lol

@Badass J Elkann needs to also be present at this summit, perhaps have Collinet do a training session or two with that bunch.

Was kinda hoping for a mid season loan we'd get the much more Serie A proven/ experienced Skriniar for CB rather than a 21 y/o...
A. Silva has over 100 games played for Benfica in the league, 17 games in CL, 17 games caps for Portugal while being 21yo. I think he's a great prospect that already is comfortable playing at the highest level.

I think he is, he's played like 5 games so far in the season in the league. After doing some research I realized the hype around him has slightly vanished in the past years.

The only player in the world I would love Juve to sign is Antony. Manure signed him for 100m so he must be good. He's so good that their new coach plans to play him as a defender. You see, he can do it all, including a 360 degree spin that even ETH didn't understand why.
Dont underestimate the spin.. Sturaro tried it once and failed

Yeah, it seems like he lost his place to Tomas Araujo, another young Portuguese defender who's being called up to the national team. Good ol' Otamendi is the reference point for Benfica defense.
Benfica fans are not fond of otamendi he's made more mistakes than anyone and is too slow. They see Araujo-Silva as their ideal starters but Lage prefers Otamendi.

I didn't think we would be linked to Silva considering his price but his valuation has dropped since the summer. Made it worse after his international performance against Georgia. I like Silvas leadership qualities. From what I've heard Silvas lost some of his agility having bulked and muscled up in the last 6 months. Anyway for me, I'd take him but I really can't see us getting him in a cheap deal, even if it's loan plus option.

So let me get this straight. A.Silva is so highly rated that Benfica dont even see him as a starter? and he lost it to another young Portuguese player (not to a Bremer of any kind).
I know they are the mighty Benfica but if A.Silva is that great and that kid benched him.. Why dont we just go for that kid who is supposed to be better since he benches Silva...
Just wondering..

Look, if A. Silva was that great we'd be talking De Ligt fee and wages. For your another argument it's not always as easy as black and white is. Maybe Araujo has characteristics that the coach requires for his gameplan. Maybe it's Otamendi that's crucial to the couch and Araujo happen to compliment him better than Silva. You can't tell without actually observing the players. And I am sure we have taken a close look before we will actually spend anything so rest assured.

Also, apparently Benfica is interested in Arthur which may facilitate the negotiations. Maybe an exchange of loans or something.

I'd say Hancko would be a pretty cool signing though. The odd times I've seen him in the eredivise he really seemed like solid player. Nothing too flashy, but rarely makes any major mistakes or fuckups.
he was very good for sparta too — but reached the next level in the eredivisie

Liam Delap just seems like the dumbest signing I've ever heard. So it will probably happen.

We shouldn't be buying players from anti-LGBTQ+ clubs like Ipswitch town anyway.
