finally some good news

Meeting scheduled for next week between the Juventus management and the agents of Augusto #Owusu (19) to discuss the contract extension. #Juve considers him an important talent and is satisfied with his performance. There is the idea of extending until 2029 (current expiry 2026) with an upward salary adjustment.

A.Silva - Well he is good in FM IIRC.
Really dont know him tbh. Is he good?
And if we secured him its time to secure a forward because this shitshow has to stop

Getting Silva would be a pleasant surprise. Was only expecting someone on a dry loan

Yeah, I don't want Skriniar at all, but some older, experienced player would have been nice. Someone who is ready and can help the team right away.
silva has played in champions league, he’s ready

He is still young with plenty of potential to get better but atm he is rather raw and error prone, hence why we even have a chance to get him, then again just imagine some of those tackles and fouls in a league where there are also biased refs against us.

well he is fast...
Truth is we can’t really tell for sure how he will fare here unless we actually see him at work, but very important to note is that the portuguese league is very different to the italian one, and he’s had his fair share of struggles there too, though mainly due to still being raw and lacking experience because otherwise he sure is a promising talent.

i just hope he can stay fit and can play with the ball. We have a working defensive system and its should be easy to implement a new piece into it. We just need a defender who is at least pretty good in defending and is comfortable with the ball to make the play from the back much faster. If he can fill that role then he should be ok.

and btw it does look promising:

Even if our own track record might disagree i also think that he can be counted on in terms of at least always being available, then regarding everything else i guess remains to be seen.

Hopefully we don’t just blow our entire winter mercatto budget on an expensive loan deal without even a option/obligation and then end up penny pinching when it comes to adding other necessary depth pieces.

besides that, we shitted on Kalulu as totally mediocre signing and look how it turned, he is probably our best buy together with Chico.

Kalulu has been great no doubt, but let’s not jinx it because what most were concerned with was his injury record, atm we are not even halfway through the season yet and it usually only takes a split of a second for it to happen.
