With Cabal and Danilo as CB backups and the amount of central midfielders in the squad (I'm sure Locatelli and McKennie can be asked to play in defence if necessary), I see little point in signing a past-it free agent.

Right now juve has the 4 cbs with 2 more out on loan. No need to sign anyone.

maybe keep eye out on Todibo or Calafiori if they don’t settle in their teams by January

Boscagli of PSV and Tah of Leverkusen both have expiring contracts, but I doubt their clubs would allow them to leave mid-season.

In any case, we're going to have to cope until January at least, so perhaps it's time to reintegrate Danilo and expedite Cabal's growth process and transition to a proper CB.

My guess is they will promote someone from next gen for depth (Felipe, Citi, maybe even Comenencia) and roll with what they’ve got until January. Ramos is old, and none of the other names are interesting, they would just be sitting on the bench.

Is there a next gen player that impressed as CB recently?
pedro Felipe. He’s injured now but is supposed to be back soon.

Maybe let’s recall Rugani, he hasn’t really played so far for Ajax

Not worried about the CB depth. I have faith in Motta to integrate Cabal fairly quickly in the rotation.
Kalulu Gatti Danilo Cambiaso

Cabal and Savone as depth

Seems too little depth to me

Ramos is very tempting for a year, but salary demands unknown for now. Besides that the NextGen and Danilo as CB are the sustainable options.

I don’t know Felipe, when we signed Citi was good news back then, because he was the captain at Milan’s youth team.

felipe is a bigger CB but hes a lot better on the ball than his size would suggest. I just dont think hes ready for serie A yet. I dont know enough about Citi, but i do know hes tall lol.

Ramos is old and also injury prone, i feel like he would just get injured and never play.

Id be more interested in signing a fullback, like Aurier.
