During the interview with 'The Athletic', Timothy Weah has revealed that he has spoken to Jonathan David, one of his best friends in the football world: "He asks me so many questions on Juve, I told him that if he comes here, he will have to work hard".

Juventus is looking for a defender for January but...

Only on loan
Ready now
There is no exact shortlist yet of a few candidates (the mercato situations, the 'transferables', those out of project could change on a weekly basis)

Among the 'ready now' assessed profiles and that are being followed by Cristiano #Giuntoli, there are Radu Dragusin (THFC) and Milan Skriniar (PSG). Jonathan Tah (Bayer04) is liked but an investment would be needed to sign him even if he becomes a free agent in the summer.

[Marco Conterio]
Dragusin :touched:

Bring him back.

Juventus’ priority to sign a striker in January. The Bianconeri like Udinese’s Lorenzo Lucca. The 24-year-old is from Turin and a Juve supporter, it would be a dream for the player to wear the Bianconeri jersey. #Juventus

so from highlights i watched he is more luca toni than peter crouch which is good. concern is there that these big strikers tend to move awkward which thankfully doesn't seem to be case here. his first touch and movement is not bad. he isn't halaand quick and nimble, but he isn't bad at all considering he is much taller than halaand. i don't mind this deal for a back up striker.

that said i think better idea is to go for a more all rounded striker instead of a targetman. or get a good left winger and try yildiz as the false nine.

Claudio Chiellini was in charge of Pisa when they signed Lucca back in ’21, so there’s that connection as well.

I view David as a starter type, don’t think thats realistic unless Vlahovic leaves. And it’s impossible to do in January anyway since he’s not EU.

Kalimuendo would be best case scenario in January, but that’s probably more of a summer move as well, but unlike David I could see him as a vice Vlahovic. Lucca seems most realistic in January of the three.

Yeah, plus Udinese seems to have good cover in Davis and Thauvin. The former got player of the match today.

Lucca looks pretty tough on aerials.

only issue is he seems the type that needs service. Not sure how he is in hold up either.

personally I’d look to take Zirkzee on a dry loan instead.

Romano and schira are reporting Danilo is gone and Saudi clubs are after him. May as well let him go in January, the depth he provides doesn’t matter if the coach doesn’t trust him (nor should he)

Pass then. Motta's main weakness is making subs without tactical adjustment. The backup CF needs to have an entirely different style

He is good enough for impersonating Zlatan but I doubt he can do things our other CBs cant. We need to find a quality CB rather than just add a CB - We lost Bremer to a long injury we didnt lose Rouhi...
I’d feel a lot better with Dragusin out there than Danilo. They currently have two CBs worth playing, three if Cabal switches. They need bodies.
