Still think that our main problem right now is a rookie coach. With simple little things he got outsmarted by many coaches (Gasperini, Prandelli...). In the end, those simple little things together are called experience.

They had more than 3 years to solve issues in the midfield and they bet it all on freebies, I don't expect some significant change this winter. But a change in the right direction will be a good start.

No i want to sell Dybala to get Locatelli nd Auoar this winter. The other 3 are cheap in price regarding their contracts. With the Berna money it s maybe possible.

The way I look at it, just get YOUNGER talent. Forget Gomez or any 30+ players. Those type of players are just a short term band-aids.

Maybe it still possible but instead gomez and depay, just sign a cheap backup striker that wont cost more than 10-15m transfer fee.

The potential buyers are Tottenham and PSG although I wouldnt entirely rule out Barcelona if Messi leaves...
Tottenham - Who can we swap him with? There are Son and Kane but I doubt Tottenham will let any of them go. There is Ndombele but I doubt this as well...
PSG - They wont give us Verratti and even if they have the will, Verratti will ask for way too much and will be injured for half his games.
The only possible trade is Icardi but I would doubt us wanting him considering what we want our players to do.

Barcelona - If they want him they might be able to do something with someone like Coutinho (which I would rather pass), Greizmann (again pass) and Dembele (highly doubt it)

Maybe only pogba for stright swap. He wants to leave. Similar (or almost) MV. And it seems pirlo is getting the band back together.

Barca is in difficult financial situation too. Maybe in summer if messi leave and griezman too. Too difficult in this winter transfer.

We definitely need another CM, especially since Pirlo switched to 3-man midfield.

De Paul is a good player but not one that makes the department world class...

If we continue with this formation we do lack depth for those box to box roles though. Only really have Ramsey and McKennie who can effectively play those roles.
