Dependable in what sense? Hes less injury prone than de sciglio, contributed more in terms of assists and goals than de sciglio has ever done for us. I cant say I'm a fan of kurzawa but hes an upgrade even if he is a minor one
Hate to say it, but I agree with Badass. It's a minor one, but it's an upgrade because this mofo while nothing special, is more skilled and talented player, more technical and capable forward.

Not that its ringing endorsement. It's just De Sciglio is that forgettable.

Same for me except PSG add 10 - 15 mill minimum to the deal

The deal has more downside than upside
Kurzawa contract expiring in 6 months. If we want him just get him as freebie
He also has his injury issue
Kurzawa has higher wage compare De Sciglio
Kurzawa has attitude problem in the past.I dont know what kind of person he is in the team buat De Sciglio already here and adapt with our team member
De Sciglio is Italian and already play in Serie A compare to Kurzawa in a new league
It's a pure plusvalenza deal, nothing else to it.

You swap one subpar injury prone player of similar age and salary for another, but add some money in the books from it.

I guess we're sacrificing a few millions to beat the competition or maybe PSG is the only team interested in MDS and only bc they can lower Kurzawa loss or both.

Yeah he's better on technical level and has some skill (no idea how bad he is defensively compared to MDS, who himself isn't that great at it) while MDS is more eclectic.

It smells like that type of convenient deal. Both teams doing eachofher a favour kinda deal. And also both seeing the player they getting as the one with more upside because their own player is in a rut performance and fitness/readiness wise.

Depends on the length of contract, if we gonna fully evaluate how this deal can be scrutinised.

Before Napoli also interested with De Sciglio. Its better doing swap deal with Hysaj. Hysaj already worked with Sarri before

Napoli is so stupid lately with Allan - Vecino rumour and now they will buy Politano for 23m.

Kurzawa used to be considered a decent attacking full-back prospect a few years back. Apparently he's shit at defending and has some mentality problems though. It's not a like for like swap so maybe Sarre/Tici prefer someone more attacking as a back-up on that side.

Yeah, it might not be a popular deal, but it's half a point for @Badass Dybala

We already ship out the same kind of fullback Joao Cancelo in the summer.
Attacking Fullback with some questionable defending and attitude.
Why would we want Kurzawa? Its better keep or just sell De Sciglio for money

Kurzawa has 14 assists in 6 years in Ligue 1. MDS has 4 assists in 6 years in Serie A. Not a bad upgrade...
So that's it, that's all what matters. MDS has 0.66 assists per year in here, Kurzawa has 2.33 assists per year in France, so Kurzawa is about 3.53x better at playing football than MDS is.

How about we sign Neymar for our wingback instead?

I don't think this is an upgrade nor a downgrade, it's simply like for like. They're both underwhelming. One is better defensively, and versatile. The others better going forward, quick feet, pace but mentally fragile.. Depends how you see it, either way it's a meh.

Sounds good to me.

Can you explain what you mean by eclectic? I would say MDS is the prototypical overrated one dimensional Italian fullback.

Straight swap, De Sciglio’s amortized value is ~6m so expect both clubs to value these chips at 20m for a tasty fake plusvalenza like all our full backs swap deals lately
