Pls. We need that €45m depth player.

Cuads is done :howler:
I'm not impressed by Costa at all so far. Also I know he only works in certain situations if the system is right, so he will come useful for us this season, but hes not worth 45M + 6M in wages for sure.

Two years ago around this time, the same was said about Pogba

6 months later, everyone was incredibly eager to release the semen from his undersized penis and indulge in it.

Expecting the same with Costa once he gets going.

Then we try and lower the fee come summer. Either way, cuadrado is hot/cold more so this season than last. Seems to have lost his pace which without Costa we have very little with Sandro probably the only other genuine fast player.

Who knows. But to be barely 1.5 months into the season and already judging is sorta bizarre but you know Tuz.

Give him a full season then judge. Seems like a normal and logical thing to do considering he is new to the league/team/tactics.

Berna has missed half the preseason as he was with the NT, has played much less and already showing more than Costa. But Costa will come good, just play him on the right side, support him with a good fullback (Meunier in January?), and make him receive the ball close to or around the box with space around him. I just think he's not worth to be the 3rd highest paid player on a top team behind Higuain and Dybala

So he threatens to ignore list me, does it, but still reads my posts.

Again, man up and follow thru with your commitment.

Lets see how Costa does when he's actually in that situation (which i agree we should do) before passing judgement

Notice Bernie only plays on the right. Costa is constantly getting swapped from side to side. Give him consistency.

Does Mario give you the same output on the right as he does the left?

Or we simply go look for a different pacey player, atleast such aren't hard to find. 6M wages is too much regardless if we lower the fee or not

Such as?

Again, try to lower the fee. Who cares anyways it's not our money to spend.

FYI

Juventus in for Isidor
By Football Italia staff

Juventus are believed to be interested in Stade Rennais youngster Wilson Isidor.

The 17-year-old has two goals in three games for the French Under-16 side, and was top-scorer as Rennes won the Montaigu Tournament in 2016.

Wearing the number 7 shirt, the youngster scored in the final in a video you can watch below courtesy of his club's official website.

According to Tuttomercatoweb, the Bianconeri are monitoring him closely with a view to adding him to their Primavera squad in the summer.

Isidor will turn 18 on August 27, at which point he'll be allowed to make an international transfer.

A number of other clubs are also thought to be interested, including Inter.

Again, regardless of if we lower the fee or not, it's still 6M in wages. More than Pogba had, more than Bonucci had, only Dybala and Higuain have more. Such wages are better used for a different player imo.

It's the clubs money let them handle the finer details.

We should be more worried about the players performing than money IMO

Not really. If Costa don't perform on the level our 3rd best player should, then why keep him on the same wages, when you have guys like AS, Pjanic or Mandzukic who deserve them more. But Zach is right, let's talk about it again come season end

Here's the thing we tried for two seasons to get him and we finally did...our trio evidently sees some quality in the guy and that is evident in the sums we paid and are paying him...why not give the guy the benefit of the doubt and play him as Zach and you said in a situation that brings out his best qualities?
