But we so many midfielders we should switch to a 433
For now our best midfield is Marchisio-Pjanic-Matuidi

But by 2020 it should be Torreira-Pjanic-Bentancur

Pjanic is 3-4 years younger than the other two so he's just entering his prime and not in the twilight of his career.

Lucas Torreira has won 33 balls this season, the second most behind only Radovanovic.

He's also a Juventus fan

http://www.football-italia.net/99723/torreira-id-play-juve

From the bits and pieces I've seen of him, he seems very talented. He's very good defensively, can dribble past players and is an accurate passer.

We should go for him in the winter. He'd be CL eligible too.
Never heard of this Torreira guy...

Here's a thought that occurred to me recently. Let me know what you guys think about it...
After seeing big clubs like Man United, Milan, Inter and recently Bayern go through major slumps after losing most of their stars of their respective 'golden generations', it might actually make sense for a club like Juve (a club that doesn't have infinite funds like Man United and PSG) to sell one or two of their best players every couple of seasons. This ensures that squad has a good turnover from season to season and the team doesn't go stale and one-dimensional over time. Every season we see something different in this Juve team: technically and tactically because we change our system based on the personnel we have.
I'm all for keeping Dybala and Sandro, no matter the cost, but all I'm saying is I think we're been very good at building very strong teams and replacing some of our best players.

For me selling players nearing 30 or over 30 years of age is fine. If we get decent coin and have younger adequate players it is fine.

Younger players like pogba foesnt sit well with me. Yes we have pjanic now but still it is pogba FFS. Selling Dybala in the coming season/s woud be a disaster in my opinion.

But sell higuain...move khedira, and orher oldies and i have no issues with that.

He looks good. I have following Samp since last year more closely and their midfield functions very well. The game against Milan last matchday said it all.

Torreira looks like he could be an important player. Reminds me of a young Medel with more technique. If he can continue growing he will be very good.

Uruguay with Torreira, Bentancur and Valverde has a very good U21 midfield.

Yep, once players are 30 they are dispensable.

Thought I stumbled upon the FM or FIFA thread there for a minute.

Both are 1,85 cm according to wikipedia .
Yes i'm talking about muscle mass. Them being more or less the exact same height is the point i'm trying to prove. Ronaldo is ridiculously explosive with his pace and he's easily got 15 lbs on Pjaca imo. I'm not going to spend my free time tonight googling topless Ronaldo pics  but you'll clearly see he's bigger than Pjaca, not just more toned.

It's necessary tbh. He's the most legendary keeper in the history of football and a true leader with heart, and even though he keeps on getting nominated to the greatest honours, there's the inkling feeling you get when you watch some recent matches that age is slowly coming for him. If he manages to win his last scudetto and play in his last world cup this season it would be a perfect farewell as he's still the undisputed starter. If he stays any longer he'll slowly end up on the bench like Totti and in a difficult situation when the management and board wants to move on but the fans and he doesn't. I want him to retire when he's still on top.
