Top 10. I can't think of more than 9 dm's better than him, can you?
Bernardeschi is awesome :donedeal:

The position DM doesn't really exist anymore, or doesn't entail the same duties/responsibilities it did a decade ago.

Matuidi is no DM either
Well, you didn't say pure DMs. I'd rather a box to box player who can run up and down the field, not neglecting defensive duties, while also contributing to the offense. Gustavo is limited in the attacking third. I'm not totally against his signing. I just said loan with AN OPTION and NOT AN OBLIGATION!

And who is Carvalho? Also Gustavo > Kante

Yeah Radja is a btb mid, can play as a DM tho
Portuguese Carvalho. He is still young and possesses potential. No fucking way Gustavo is better than Kante :howler:

Sorry but no. In neither way is Matuidi a DM, hes so terrible that Deschamps put Pogba there instead of him. Also we dont need a btb currently, we need a vice Marchisio in case Nanes leaves. Gustavo as one of the best in the world in his position AND not being Cup tied makes him the ideal target.

I think I know the Carvalho dude but he isnt as good as Gustavo yet.

As for Kante one good season doesent make him ohne of the best DMs suddenly

Actually, zizi's favorite show was Hamtaro. Show about hamsters.

I mean yeah Gustavo might be a top 10 DM but unlike most positions does top 10 really mean jack shit with DMs?

Generally now if midfielders are great at defending, but don't suck ass on the offensive front either, they get played in a more advanced role. I struggle to name 15 worthwhile holding mids period. So top 10 DM is a world away from say top 10 winger in terms of the significance.

I'd take Gustavo for cheap sure. But we need a hella lot more than him in the Summer midfield wise.

Thats obviously true also. Gustavo will simply be a Hernanes replacement, or Marchisio backup if you like it more that way. We might even end up not keeping him past this summer depending on how healthy he will be here. But we should definitely go for a Tolisso or if we have the financial power, for a Verratti in the summer

Verratti is the dream, don't see it happening until he's closer to 30 but if we think we can pull it off, great.

Not gonna sit here and pretend I follow anything outside of Juve in any detail these days, I watch way less football so I can't comment on Tolisso except friends who still watch a lot of different teams seem to rate him.

Berardi isn't good enough to tie Dyabala's shoelaces, let alone replace him in our starting 11.
He is young still, he can be like Dybala when he grows up.

For some weird reason I can see Inter with Berardi and Verrati.
No please, that would be a nightmare, those with icardi.
