Redeem Cuadrado?

He's on a three year loan for pennies. Why would redeem him now?
Is that true? I've missed that one.

He's 28, we're getting Cuadrado's best years for next to nothing? Thats an incredible piece of business! Will this be Beppe's way of overcoming the obstacle of selling players for a decent price? Send them back to their parent club after we've had our wicked way with them?

Juve ask Palermo for Quaison
By Football Italia staff

Juventus have offered €2.8m to sign Sweden international Robin Quaison from Palermo, according to Sky Sport Italia.

The plan would be to purchase him now, but leave the player on loan in Sicily until the end of the season.

These two clubs already have a good understanding thanks to the transfer of Paulo Dybala to Turin.

Quaison is a 23-year-old creative midfielder whose contract is due to expire in June.

He has two goals in five senior caps for Sweden and was a key component in the Under-21 side.

This season Quaison netted four goals in 16 Serie A appearances.

Palermo are in the process of selling their other Sweden international, as Oscar Hiljemark arrived in Genoa to complete his transfer this evening.

I believe it was a three year loan with an obligation to buy at the end. Each year of the loan costs us 4m with a final redeem cost of 24m but every year of the loan the 4m we pay comes off the final price. Meaning, after 3 years and 12m in loan fees, he'll cost us an additional 12m to make permanent. There are bonuses involved in the deal too equally something like another 5m.

Quaison is an investment. I remember him having a particularly good game against us, I think it was last season. He has nice feet and very athletic. Worst case scenario send him on loan and some DumbPL team will pay us £12m or something for him, Scandis tend to end up there.
