I think we'll get couple of youngsters to compete for the mid positions. Possibly Tolisso and Bentancur, other options could be Kessie or Dahoud.

Hernanes and Kwadwo the ones to make room imo. If there really is some sort of problem with Lemina he might go too.

Silly boys, everyone of you who gives us even a small chance to sign him and not concede a bigger loss in some other part of the team. As if you've been in coma for the last 5 years
That is such a retarded comment. There's a big difference between juve of 5 years ago and present Juventus.

Time to reunite Nainggolan with his bestie Pjanic :agree:
That would be a dream move, too bad he's constantly voiced his detest of such move. Let's hope he's a hypocrite

That's literally as far away from my point as it could have possibly been

Few years ago we hit 100mil revenue from CL only. What did we do to add upon our quality and sign that much needed attacking mid? Sold Vidal and got freebie Khedira. That behaviour is beppo in a nutshell and won't even change if he works for PSG

Wtf Pjanic is 1.80m??? He looks shorter

I mean, I guess we're all settled on Pjanic as an AM, right?
So we could have

Verratti-Marchisio-?????
Pjanic

As our starting midfield, which in paper it's not bad at all but there's only so much Marchisio (positionally) and Verratti (tracking back) could defend, I think we need a more intense player to complement that midfield, which I don't think Khedira is, and I don't believe Sturaro is good enough for.

Either that or we're moving away from that kind of midfield and are considering a 4231, which I don't think it's the case

We also brought in dybala for 40m, Sandro for around 25, was it Mandzukic also? And more. Point is we have the firepower that we lacked previously, but beppe is smarter than blowing it all on one spot or without planning accordingly and he does not tolerate Juventus being taken for fools.

If I'm not mistaken we just broke even and cleared our debts 1-2 years ago, expect better things. I'm not arguing the fact that verratti is purely a fantasy at this point. But to say it's an impossibility is also a mistake

Regarding our transfer strategy, we'll go for the right players at the right price, nothing suited that regarding the AM. The only fuck-up has been replacing our previously star-studded midfield. Though not for lack of trying.

Verratti is a fantasy and virtually impossible
How often will you repeat that? If you're trying to jinx him here I gotta tell ya, youre terrible man. at some point it will start working backwards and then he definitely wont come and you know what, you're gonna be the guy who ruined it all. Dont be that guy

Hopefully, you are right. It's unfortunate that we are willing to let Lemina go, while keeping that incompetent pseudo footballer Sturaro, but that is life.

Mamadou Coulibaly from Pescara is a player to watch. It says he is 18, but looks 40!

I firmly believe Juve will go nuts and sign a top calss midfielder, and that midfielder could be Verrati.

Theres NO WAY we will penny pinch after this disaster of a summer and the amount of abuse and pressure Marotta and Allegri have faced for such campaign.

We need to go big on midfield pretty much like we did with Higuain in the forward line.

Promote Mandragora and even Sensi, keep Rincon and Lemina if possible...
sell khedira, Sturaro and Hernanes,
and go fuking gung ho for Verrati.

Verrati,Marchisio,Rincon,Mandra,Sensi,Lemina and another proven quality dude...cannot be worst than what we have now.

Put bluntly....pump the money on midfield and fix the mess.

Then splash like 30 mils more in finding cover for our fullbacks..specially the RB.

splash the money for a quality RB who can play both wings (in case asamoah injures again), and bring back Lirola to be his undertudy.

I cant see ow this canot be done. We need 3 signings: 2 great midfielders and one great WInback who can play both wings. Thats it.

As a fan I'd love to see us get Verratti. But truth be told the Juve style has always been slowly building great teams. Vidal for example was wanted by a lot of clubs, but truth is he only really built his status here. Same obviously goes for Pogba. Pirlo and Tevez were pretty much discarded by their former clubs.

My point is, we have a habit of forming a team and developing players rather than spend big on stars. In that we're kind of different from Real or Bayern, clubs who are most like us in other aspects.

What I like about our style is that our biggest stars are really 'our' stars. You get a sense of pride when you watch a player develop and suddenly all of Europe is saying how brilliant he is, years after you first saw it.

Danilo Pereira of Porto has been key man in breaking the opposition for porto this season. Big, strong and intercepts well. Wouldnt mind this guy. Alternatively id go for Hector H.

Ill be honest here, i dont wan to burst ur bubble.... but that theory of creating our stars has gone south since "our" stars leave us for greener pastures. This is because obvs we dont have the appeal nor pulling power to keep them, and also because all of our former stars were non italian.

The "big star" formula has worked for every major club , not always, but from time to time clubs win a CL after a big spending or after keeping their stars for some years.

WHile i like our model of building champions... i dont like that we build them and then we give them on an envelope to the other powerhouses.

First, we need a solid core of talented italians, like Verrati, Rugani, Berardi and the likes... players who will commit to this italian team and not get fancied so easily by other teams outside italy. Then we compliment them with players like Dybala, and try to win the CL.

Our plan of "building" stars was excellent until 2 seasons ago when we started to lose all of the non-italian ones and things started to go south from there.

We need to bring talented italians and propose a gameplan who is convincing enough to keep foreigners. This will be done by playing great football and winning. This way, even when teams like madrid and barca come for our players, we will have enough pull to keep them.

But in our current enviroment, we penny pinch, we play badly, and on top of it all, we cant offer much on the CL because of all of the reasons mentioned.

Its time to fill our weak spots, create a team with italian core and propose a better gameplan, to at least be more interesting to players.
