We need 2 fb's and 2 midfielders from which one has to be big name signing (Veratti type). Kosilanac is excellent idea he has a lot of potential plus can play on both sides and in CB and midfield plus he is young. The other one should be Lirola or MDS.

I would recall Lirola in January.

Watched the whole second half of inter yesterday, and i must say Gagliardini looked very promising, even if it makes me sick to say it.

We should not let any more of these Italian players slip now, we already lost Veratti.

We just signed Caldara and Orsolini. Just remember that for every Verratti there are 10 flops. Verratti was pretty obvious though - I remember our management baulking at the idea of paying him 1m a year. In hindsight that was a royal mistake.

We didn't sign Verratti because we were stacked at the midfield area and we wanted him to stay one more year at Pescara and it looked like it was going to happen. Then PSG and Napoli decided to get the player and the management let him go. We had Marchisio, Vidal, Pirlo and Pogba back then. Verratti wasn't a priority, a good striker was our main objective back then.

Whatever the reason for it was ,it suc#ed major a$$.

Especially since a good back 2 back cm is extremely hard to find these days.

Id rather have one Veratti , than ten Padoins or Caldaras, if you get me.

If we buy veratti we need a solid cm as well. Someone capable of breaking up opposition attacks and good at carrying the ball. Yaya Toure of 5 years ago...

Any ideas?

I still think we should go for Kessie. Our midfield needs reinforcements, and it's the one area where we shouldn't be looking for cheap fixes. We should've never sold Vidal and Pogba without identifying proper, quality replacements.

Verratti is the dream, and I firmly believe we will push for him, just not this coming summer. I don't see him leaving PSG before 2018, and that might be a blessing in disguise for us. If we can push our revenue to around 450 million by the summer of 2018, we should be in a very good position to go all out for Verratti.
