Schalke would definitely be open for negotiations in the summer.

Im not familiar with the schedule of the AFCON all I know is that it's a curse on european football. You're right in that case though, most probably we'll hang on to him till the summer unless Leipzig/Leicester rumors materialize.

The Witsel situation has seriously upset our board. Not because of how cheap we were getting him for (well, yes part of it) but they thought he'll be enough to get us through til this summer and possibly CL. However now unless we get a loan or somehow spend money which I doubt in a top player this mercato to strengthen our midfield we're fuck-ed.
