depends what wages will he be on. 4M are Khedira level wages (was supposed to get that much in the summer, will probably get that if we sign him) and if he doesent turn starter (or atleast that 4th choice mid in 352, that we field as a starter when we go 4312) for us you get an expensive sub on your payroll. player quality wise on our current midfield hes only behind our starting trio (Pjanic backup for the 352, starting LCM with Mire as AM in the 4312) so for now he should be fine atleast.

Here is the raw situation of our current midfield
Is it good at creating and making chances and goals ?
- Yes it does. Marchisio and Pjanic are fantastic. Khedira when in reasonable form aswel. Lemina is a nice talent to have. Meanwhile Dybala, when he can play as he should, is insane.
Does our midfield actually play to the level we can expect from the above quesion ? Why ?
- No. We lack physical presence in the midfield and its really troubling us. Several players are underperforming, most notably pjanic and as a result dybala and higuain, because of this issue. Adding a player who adresses this issue would be a major boost and allows these plays to play as they should
Does witsel solve this issue ?
- No. Witsel is another pjanic without all the talent and much less working, so that doesnt solve anything
But zach, is witsel almost free ?
- He's on 3 mil wages. Thats what a starter at juve gets. Offcourse thats not 'free'
Why are you against this signing
- At this point, Kessie despite poor experience would add incredibly much by beeing physical and aggressive whilst a good player on the ball. N'zonzi even so much more.

We need a an aggressive physical player to greatly improve Pjanic and to lesser extend, Khedira/Marchisio. Witsel is not that player. He in fact is the opposite, and like Pjanic a player who is frail and requires others to do the bossing and recovering when not in possession.

he played at standard for 5 years and has 80 caps for the national team.
I've watched more games involving Witsel, then all the fancy players you make formations about combined.

The thing is we need someone to feature in the CL now... While N'Zonzi and Kessie and whoever is being mentioned might be good or even become better players, they can not play in the CL the coming months. So I suggest anyone who is opposed to Witsel, mentions someone who can and no Kessie is not coming before July.
I'm no fan, but he is better then Asamoah, Sturaro and Hernanes, so litterally cannot be offering nothing?
