Hopefully this doesent end like last year when we were having done deals for Lapadula, Caprari, Ganz, Castrovilli(?), Diawara (and some others i can't remember now), and only got 1 of them
In todays midfield it is missed indeed, but I think that he was better as a DM.
Don't know if he will have agility/dynamism to play as a CM again though.

From the 3, Caldara is the closest. Apparently they will pay 15M + bonus + maybe a youngster (Spinazzola) and let him there on loan till 2018. The player allegedly already chose Juve (surprise, surprise) among Roma/Napoli/Inter.
Gagliardini is valued around 15M and there's a decent chance Marotta will move for him as well.
Reports from Italy say that the interest for Kessie cooled off, because of the interest of EPL clubs and the auction. Atalanta wants 25M + for the guy.
Caldera is the only one who had a good game against us
Gagliardini is talented
Kessie is hyped like the next big thing but honestly he could be a flop as well - Expect him to be a strong brainless player and flop in the EPL
Witsel 10M? they can take 6M and say thank you for allowing them to get some money from a player that will leave anyway in the end of the season

What I don't really get is Gagliardini. He seems to be a classical DM. But for that position we already have Mandragora, considered one of the best Italian youngsters and who, before got injured, Allegri considered giving a shot at the squad right away - at 18 or 19 yrs. It tells a lot about his talent. He had a bone injury, which means his athleticism shouldnt be affected.
So I'd say Caldara is really the closest to reality. But I have the feeling that they will get Gagliardini as well. About Kessie, I feel they may be dodging a bullet - but I have never payed attention to the player really.
Why is everyone so anti kessie suddenly? Because we are less likely to get him? Dodged bullet? He is Atalanta's biggiest talent for sure, so its one thing to say he will cost too much or is raw, but be positive of the two others while dismissing him, the actual main stand out player of theirs besides Gomez, is odd.
Kessie is worth 20 million. The year is 2016, and these are standard prices for young players with potential. Give them 21-22 million, and I am sure he will be ours. I think he prefers staying in Serie A. We should also keep monitoring Seko Fofana.

That was a bargain, not everything you get is a bargain, if a teenager has a breakthrough and he is wanted by several, 20m is the norm and basically starting price in todays market where we see 60-90m bids as something thats not outrageous anymore...
